I had a good experience at Gargi College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed through the college placement cell. The highest package was around 10 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 1.8 Lacs per annum. There were many renowned companies and also medium and new startups. The placement cell proved to be good for students to gain exposure.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Gargi College is good. Labs are hygienic and well-maintained. There is a little problem with Wi-Fi. The classrooms are okay, and the lecture rooms are great. We have an excellent library, but there is a huge network problem there. The canteen is also very good, and good quality and variety of food are provided. Medical facilities are excellent, and we have regular medical checkups. Sports and games facilities are open for our recreation.

Faculty: The faculty are good and well-qualified. The lab staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. This course provides good and deep knowledge about Physics and happenings around us. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Maximum students pass the exams.

Other: The campus crowd is the best. Events and fests are the best. We face a little bit of network problem, but it has a great atmosphere. Campus locality is the best.

It is a chance for girls to have their own space and explore their individuality.

Placements: In arts and commerce courses, there are plenty of placement opportunities offered by the placement cell. However, in case of science stream, there are hardly any placement opportunities available for girls. This is because Physics degree is not a commercial degree.

Infrastructure: As Gargi does not provide hostel facilities, you have to opt for paying guest options. There are plenty of PGs near the college. The college infrastructure is very beautiful. Greenery is present inside as well as outside the college. The auditorium of Gargi is very beautiful.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The curriculum is set up such that it will help you to crack your competitive exams. So, the curriculum is set up according to these exams only. You can easily achieve a good score if you start preparing 1 month before the exams.

Other: The college fees and opportunities it provides are incomparable. The college fee is low, and yet, you get all the beautiful chances. The fests in Gargi are famous in University of Delhi. Crowd, food and everything is good.

College life in Gargi is amazing and give many experiences.

Placements: I was from Physics hons. And it is not a professional course so I did not get any placement but there our department conducted many amazing workshops. But for the course of commerce there is a good placement cell and anyone cannot find any difficulty in getting placements.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel in gargi college but the infrastructure of department is very good. Labs are perfectly equipped. Classrooms are good and have all digital facilities inside it. Library has so many books, I didn't face any problem in finding books in library. There is Wi-Fi also in college which works well. Canteen is very clean and food is very tasty as well as affordable.

Faculty: The teachers and staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable. They even motivate us for our future. There are also mentors and they resolve our every problem. We did many practicals in our course in which we got the knowledge of many practical things. The semester exams are not very tough.

Other: This course gives very practical knowledge, whatever is going in our surroundings we can see that very practically. This should have placement too, only this is I think should be considered by the college. Events and fests are just awesome, the crowd is amazing there.

It has the best faculty members.

Placements: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics is not a professional course, so there are no placements. During the course of 3 years, we are provided with a number of workshops from established institutions like IIT Delhi and also various lectures by eminent physicists, and also lectures on mental health and career counseling. We also got the privilege to visit DRDOs head office and participate in its poster-making competition. All this may very well add to your CV.

Infrastructure: The building of the institution is like any other Delhi University college, old and red. The science department has 3 lecture theatres, spacious and well-equipped with projectors and air conditioners. All other classrooms are not much spacious but enough for a class of 30-40 students. The physics lab is well-maintained equipment and 4 sub-sections of lab-B. It provides G lab, optics labs, electronics labs, and the main lab. The physics lab staff members are the best thing you can get in the department. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. You can spend hours sitting in the library, and it has many books and infinite peace in itself.

Faculty: The physics faculty members are the best. They put their hearts out to teach you and make you score better. Almost 95% of them are doctorates and post-doctorates. I feel this is one of the best colleges of Delhi University for graduation in Physics. Semester exams would be a little tough, but the faculty members will make it easy for you with their notes and classes. Only 1 or 2 students from our batch got a backlog in their semester exams.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course will not only teach you physics but also make your personality better. There are a lot of interdepartmental activities, and one of them is named Physicstanshri, as you have to sing a song and connect a Physics logic to it. The science department has its own annual function. Fests like Zistatva and Reverie are organised, which will make your college life memorable. Our college conducts an annual sports competition, and it is vast.

One of the best DU colleges.

Placements: There is no placement in any of DU colleges. Apart from this college student union has organised a placement cell on their own and students get ample opportunity to get internships and jobs in their area of interest. The information regarding the same is shared through the class groups.

Infrastructure: Although the college building is small but there is no such problem in attending classes. Because the college has large lecture rooms. The canteen has amazing food. And there is the library. It is the best, amazing books. The medical facilities are free of cost.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhDs. They have got ample knowledge of their fields. The practical classes are also good. The course curriculum is same as most of the colleges in India. The difficulty level is also the same. The exams are mostly based on the conceptual knowledge and not theory.
