It's a very good college to study in and gain experience in Physics.
Placements: 30 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 7 LPA. The average is 9 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are Dell Technologies, KPMG, De Shaw, etc. But most of my seniors go for higher studies or competitive exams like IIT JAM, GATE, etc. So that's why only 30% of students get placement from companies.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Our physics department has good labs, classrooms, and a library. But the only problem is Wi-Fi in my college. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, which creates many problems. This needs improvement. Hostel facilities are also good, and the campus is comfortable for students. The canteen area is very good, and the sports ground is also available. Only the Wi-Fi problem needs to be improved.
Faculty: In my department, teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are pretty good, and the difficulty level is average. But sometimes it can be difficult, so we have to study regularly. The pass percentage is 33% in semester exams. It includes internal and external marks.

My college is peaceful, animal-friendly, and good.
Placements: 20% of students are placed in my college. The highest package is 20 LPA. The average is 9 LPA. The lowest is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, PwC, McKinsey & Company, D. E. Shaw, Accenture, Dell Technologies, & Barclays. 60–70% of students get internships. Roles include researcher, data analyst, teacher, professor, etc.
Infrastructure: My college has everything like Wi-Fi, laptops available, classrooms with AC, sports facilities, DRC, and a library with AC and a huge collection of books. The sports grounds are big. The quality is not so good in the mess but is good in the canteen. The infrastructure is well-maintained. Sports facilities are available, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and supportive. They clear our doubts. They teach in the best way they can. The course is relevant, but honestly, Physics does not provide any industry-related opportunities. It is totally academic-based and research-oriented. I have not had the semester exams yet.

It has been a magical experience at Miranda House!
Placements: Miranda House, DU is definitely one of the most potent college when it comes to placements. For almost all the courses, our placement cell work so hard to ensure that core placements are provided. Proper CV building and webinars for the same are conducted by them. So, all in all, from placements perspective Miranda House is as I have mentioned before, is indeed a very promising college.
Infrastructure: The first thing which I fell I love at Miranda House was certainly the infrastructure. I saw the hostels and I told my parents I will stay at college hostels instead of PG. Then I saw the sports facilities and saw floodlights at tennis courts and I felt so happy. I use every single facility provided at the college and can say they are outstanding.
Faculty: Being a Science student, Physics is my most important subject. It was imperative for me to choose this course. The cut-offs were high, but I am glad I got admission here. Coming to the faculty members' part, they have always been supportive and are the backbone of our college.
Other: The college has a nice crowd and beautiful infrastructure. Every month, we have events that make campus life probably the best student experience.

Review of Miranda House for the physics department.
Placements: Placements do happen in Miranda, but mostly in maths and economics departments. The highest package offered this year is 24 LPA. In my department, mostly girls go abroad for further studies. Mostly, students get into research and not placements. Placements here are comparatively low because people here get into research and the UPSC. But once students get here, then we will definitely be something in our lives. I would suggest that if placement is students main aim, then they should be active here with e-cell. Top companies like Accenture, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG often participate in the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess might not be up to our taste as everyone misses their home sickness. The canteen is nice and affordable with fine taste. Some dishes are very delicious and are at a low price. The library would stun us. The basketball court and ground in front of the science block are nice. Medical facilities and counselling are available for everything. Girls who are sports enthusiasts can feel empowered every day. The infrastructure of the science block is very nice. It is newly constructed. Mirror, water facilities, and restrooms are also available. The science building is newly constructed and gives a technical feel. Labs and classrooms are fantastic. Some equipment in the lab is old, but overall labs are worth it.
Faculty: Everything here will make us fall in love with Miranda House, as it is the place where we will find comfort and peace. In physics department, professors are top-notch. Some might be annoying, but they have full knowledge of what they are teaching. The attendance is something that can make things difficult for us. We should maintain 67% attendance. End semester exams are conducted smoothly.
Other: Physics here can feel challenging at first because professors expect consistency, but if we attend classes regularly and stay connected with seniors, it becomes much more manageable. Labs are decent, and faculty members are knowledgeable. The crowd pushes us to grow intellectually. One thing I personally liked is how active societies and events are, and it never feels like life is only about assignments. Overall, Physics at Miranda House is rigorous but rewarding, especially if we enjoy the subject beyond just marks, so I chose it.

Review of Miranda House, University of Delhi.
Placements: There is no placement in Miranda House, University of Delhi. Students will go for higher education to get a job. Some students go for research and others go for M.Sc. Internships were held during the summer break which was not a paid internship. So no placement in the Miranda House.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is good. Wi-Fi facilities are available in the overall campus and hostel. Some classrooms are big but some are very small. Labs are big with all the apparatus there. Food available in the hostel is acceptable. Canteen food is at a reasonable price.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All are well qualified and have teaching experience of almost 15 years on campus. They teach every topic properly from the textbooks. Teaching quality is overall good. Semester exams are scored if we study properly.
Other: Research programs can be done after this course. Events and fests are held on the campus. Fest is held annually. It is a 2-day fest named Tempest.

Placements: Placements are overall good. Many students of B.Sc. Hons. course, both Maths and Physics got placements. Some students go for higher studies. The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and the minimum is 8 LPA. Students can also do internships in college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Miranda House is top-rated, with all the facilities available on campus. All types of transport are available from the campus. Wi-Fi facilities with some rooms having AC facilities are also provided. The quality of food is good. There is no issue with that.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and clear doubts of all the problems. Many are Ph.D. scholars. Some are doing research projects. Semester exams are held 6 times for our course in three years. They are easy to pass. This course is a good course to pursue research.
Other: Miranda House is a prestigious institute of Delhi University. B.Sc. hons. Physics is a well-known course in it. Many events are held in the college. All types of transport are available from the college easily.

Placements: Placements are overall moderate in the college. The biggest and the lowest package depend upon person to person and the companies in which they are placed. The highest package is approximately 15 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very great. Infrastructure is the best of Miranda House. All the buildings are new. Wi-Fi facilities are available across the campus, but sometimes they do not work properly. The hostel food is good. The quality is also good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They teach us each and every topic before exams. The semester exams are held in May and December. They are not that much tough. We can read from textbooks and pass them easily. PYQs should be done before exams.
Other: The crowd of the campus is great. All types of transport facilities are available from the campus. Nearby the college, many other DU colleges are there. The metro station is very near the college.

That's great. However, the percentage of your best four subjects will be calculated in order to determine whether you are eligible or not, that'd be including English as well as the subject you wish to pursue your degree in. The cut-offs will be announced sometime around June-July.

The cut-off for physics Hons closed with the third list for the unreserved category at 95.33% last year.

Hi,
The system does not see individual subject marks as a criterion. It seeks your best of four percentage including English and the subject you wish to pursue your degree in. Calculate your best of four percentage and wait for the cut-off to be announced sometime around late June or early July.

You are eligible for Physics Hons. if you had Maths as the fifth subject, English being the fourth. Physics Hons. requires you to have Physics, chemistry/ computer science and Maths. But, with just PCB, you're not eligible for this course.
