Good placements, good infrastructure, and faculty can be a bit better.

Placements: 90% of students who sit in the placement round get placed. The highest package is 24 LPA. The lowest is 6 LPA. The average is 8.8 LPA. Recruiters include Accenture, ICICI, and KPMG. I don't really know the exact percentage of students who get internships, but I am currently in the second year, so probably 40%. Roles offered include Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Consulting roles.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and libraries are fully furnished and mostly air-conditioned. The only issue is the network. The Wi-Fi issue is not limited to the Maths department. It prevails throughout the college. I don't reside in the hostel. Some of my friends do, but I haven't really asked them about the hostel facilities that precisely. Our college has three canteens. All of them are pretty good. The sports grounds are also quite huge and well-maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are a lot more formal and strict when it comes to Maths compared to my friends from other departments. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but a lot of students may get hesitant to ask for help. Maths is a rigorous course and would not make sense a lot of the time because of the purely abstract Maths in it. It really needs to be a bit more practical to make students industry-ready. Exams are very difficult, but usually, people pass.

Other: I chose this course because I don't get allotted Economics Honors, which I actually want to pursue. So, Maths is the second-best alternative because Economics is defined by Maths itself. The best thing I find about this course is that the course syllabus aligns a lot with Economics Honors, so it is the right decision. Teachers can be more flexible and interactive with students, like those in humanities courses. Strictness is a real issue. Extracurricular activities are often good. Societies put their all into these events. It's really fun to attend them.

The college is overall the best.

Placements: About 100 students were placed in my course. I don't know exactly, but I guess approximately 20 LPA is the highest package. The lowest package is around 3–6 LPA. McKinsey is the top recruiting company. Around 60–70% of students from the B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics course actively secure internships at companies like Infosys, McKinsey, etc. The Miranda House Placement Cell organizes a dedicated annual job and internship fair called Chrysalis to bring a wide range of profiles to campus. Because of the intensive training in discrete mathematics, financial mathematics, linear programming, and statistics, graduates are predominantly chosen for core logical and analytical profiles.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, labs, AC classrooms with proper infrastructure, and a library. The food quality is good, and the canteen is also affordable. Medical facilities are available, along with good sports and games facilities. A huge library is also there. The college has a Digital Resource Center and an ADRC for visually impaired students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult. For my course at my college, the pass percentage is 100%.
