UPCATET MSc Pattern 2024: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

UPCATET 2019 exam pattern for MSc courses is such that the question paper will contain a total of 200 multiple choice questions of 600 marks that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours.

Marking scheme: Candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer. There will also be negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer.

For MSc course admissions, there will be different papers for different programmes as mentioned below:

UPCATET Syllabus for MSc Courses

UPCATET 2019 syllabus is not out yet. However, for the academic year, 2017-18, the official website informed that UPCATET syllabus for MSc course admissions was the same as the syllabus for undergraduate courses in the concerned subject.

Yes, the syllabus is different at the individual level. The UG syllabus is based on Class 12 Science subjects. The PG syllabus is based on what students learn in their Bachelor's degree. The PhD syllabus is deeper and more detailed. It includes in-depth information in one specific area.
