UPCATET MBA 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The UPCATET 2025 admit card is out on the official website on May 27, 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the UPCATET 2025 Exam must download their Hall ticket from the official website until June 9, 2025.

Candidates must follow the below mentioned steps to donwlod the UPCATET Admit Card:

1. Visit the official UPCATET website
2. Enter the registration number, date of birth, and prefrred course.
3. Click on the download and take a printout of the UPCATET admit card.

The exam anaysis of UPCATET 2024 includes the marking scheme, total number of questions, examination pattern, syllabus of the exam, type of questions asked in exam, pattern of questions asked in the exam.

Yes, applicants who pass the 12th standard exam with compartment will also be eligible to appear in the UPCATET exam. 

There are no passing percentage marks for the UPCATET exam. Candidates need to just pass the exam. But there are wise criteria which must need to abide by. Students should not be more than 16 years and less than 22 years of age on December 31, 2024. 

Applicants who fulfill both criteria need to fill UPCATET application form and appear in the exam. 

Applicants while filling their application form will be given four choice, PCB, PCM, PAG, and PHS. Students will have to choose any of this choice in the form as per their education qualification. They will be given paper of their choice in the UPCATET exam. There will be no change in the examination hall for any paper under any cicrumstances hence applicants must choose carefully while filling the form. 

Candidates will be given admission to the similar course for which they have appeared in the exam. There will be 200 questions in exam out of them 20 questions will be from General Knowledge topic and rest 180 will be from the group for which they have applied.  

The UPCATET exam is compratively easy in comparison to JEE Main, BITSAT etc. exam. Applicants who have secured atleast 60 % marks in their academic exam are more likely to qualify the exam. Since it is state owned examination and number of users are also less in comparison to other competitve exam. 

Applicants just need to complete the syllabus within time and practise more and more to qualify the exam with good marks. 

No a student who belong to Bihar can not appear in UPCATET exam. As according to UPCATET eligibility criteria:

A) Such students who are living in UP from the last 5 years and have completed the required qualification from state only. 

B) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or place of origin is UP and he/she also belong to UP. 

C) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or their residence is not from UP but they acquired and have been living in the state for 5 years.

The Counseling Fees for the UPCATET Exam for the academic session 2024-25 for Unergraduate and postgraduate candidates is mentioned below:

• All the selcted candidates need to pay an amount of INR 500 as counselling fee, to be eligible for the further rounds of UPCATET Counseling.
• Those candidates who are allotted seats need to submit INR 5000 as a security deposit during the counseling rounds.

• The first steps is to register themselves by visiting the official website
• Then, candidates need to submit their online counseling registration fee
• Once registered, candidates must login through their login credentials.
• Then, candidates need to complete the choice filling and locking process.
• Then comes the upgradation rules.
• Candidates go through the seat availability process for UG programs
• At last, candidates go through the seat availability for master's programs

There are different eligibility criteria decided by the exam conducting authorities whcih includes both age as well as education for UG courses. There is no age limit for PG and PhD courses.  

For BVSC & H course the minimum and maximum age limit of candidate need to be 17 and 25 by Decemeber 31st 2024. While for all other course the minimum and maximum age limit of candidate need to be 16 and 22 by Decemeber 31st 2024 for CUPCATET 2024 exam. 

Note: Person with Disability (PwD) will be given a relexation of 5 years in upper age limit.  

Candidates who have filled the application form of UPCATET successfully can download the admit card. The exam conducting authorities released the admit card more than 10 days before the commencement of the exam. Students can download it by visiting the official website. 

To download the admit card applicants must enter their login credentials which will be provided to them after filling the application form. 

The exam conducting authority has clearly mentioned in the official broucher that "Open & Distance Education" will be considered for educational qualification eligibility criteria of UPCATET. 

Applicants who have completed their education as full time course will be eligible to fill the form and apply online. Only those students are required to fill the application form who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. 

No, it's mandatory to have a domicile of UP to get a normal seat in UPCATET exam. Authorities ask for the UP domicile during counseling process.  Applicants who want to apply UPCATET online form must fulfil both age wise as well as educational eligibility criteria. 

The Eligibility criteria for UPCATET is mentioned below:

• Indian citizenship.
• Candidate must pass 12th standard exam from a recognised board. 
• Uttar Pradesh domicile status.
