ICAR AIEEA
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Entrance Examination (ICAR AIEEA) in order to offer students admission in agriculture and allied sciences at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. On the basis of AIEEA, undergraduate candidates are awarded the ‘National Talent Scholarships in Agriculture and Allied Sciences subjects (Except Veterinary Science). The ICAR AIEEA is conducted on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through the ICAR AIEEA scores, colleges offer admission in agriculture courses.
Eligibility Criteria: Students who are applying for ICAR AIEEA should fulfil the eligibility criteria before submitting the application form. Candidates who are found ineligible, will not be considered for selection. The candidate must be 16 years to be eligible. The candidate should have done their class 12 from a recognised board (Central/State) in English medium with at least three of the following mentioned subjects – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their class 12 in order to be eligible for UG courses, whereas students need to have secured a minimum of 55 per cent in their graduation to be eligible for a post-graduate course.
Admission Process: Students need to first apply online for ICAR AIEEA UG/PG. They will have to enter their personal and academic details. Once the candidate has successfully filled and submitted the application form, the student has to appear for ICAR AIEEA UG/PG. The results of the entrance exam will be announced on the official website. A merit list will be released, which will contain the candidate’s name, marks secured and percentage. Along with a merit list, a cut-off list will also be released. Candidates who meet the cut-offs can complete the admission formalities by appearing for the counselling session and booking their seat.

OUAT Entrance Exam
The OUAT - Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts the OUAT Entrance Exam in order to offer students admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the field of agriculture and technology. OUAT offer students education in the following courses and subjects:

Eligibility Criteria: The student should have pursued their class 12 with Science and should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in all subjects, including the optional subject. Students who apply for admission under the SC/ST/PH category, need to secure a minimum of 40 per cent in their class 12. The students should have done their PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
Admission Process: Students need to firstly apply for OUAT Entrance Exam. They have to select the programme and course, fill the application form and submit the form with the application fee. Once the candidate has successfully applied, they have to appear for the OUAT Entrance Exam. The results will be released in the form of a merit list which will contain the names and percentages secured in the entrance exam. A cut-off list will be released and students who make the cut-off, can apply for admission and book their seat.

MCAER CET PG
The Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examinations Board (MAUEB) conducts the Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research Common Entrance Test (MCAER CET) PG in order to offer students admission in postgraduate courses in the field of agriculture, engineering and technology and Fisheries Science. MCAER PG is a state-level entrance exam. For undergraduate courses, candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their performances in MHT CET/ JEE/ NEET/ ICAR AIEEA.
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate has to be a resident of Maharashtra. The candidate should have done a three-year BSc course from a recognized university. The candidate should have also secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks or 5.5 CGPA score on a scale of 10. 70 per cent marks will be judged on the basis of marks secured in the MCAER CET PG and 30 per cent marks will be judged on the qualifying degree examination.
Admission Process: Students need to first apply for MCAER CET PG. The application forms will be available on the official website of MCAER. Once the candidate fills and submits the application form, they will have to appear for the common entrance test. The results will be released in the form of merit lists. Candidates who make the cut-off can proceed to book their seat in the college offered and complete the admission formalities.

UPCATET
The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is conducted in order to offer students admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of agriculture and technologies. UPCATET is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted annually. Through UPCATET, students can get admission in various colleges accepting UPCATET scores.
Eligibility Criteria: Only residents from Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply for UPCATET. The students should have done their class 12 from in Science stream and should have secured a minimum of 50 per cent. Candidates who are from reserved categories are given a 5 per cent relaxation. The student should be at least 16 years of age and not more than 22 years. According to the course interested in, the candidate should have done their PCB or PCM.
Admission Process: Students will have to apply online on the official website of UPCATET. The candidate will have to register and then apply for the programme interested in. Once the details are filled and the application fee has been paid, the candidate has successfully applied for UPCATET. Students will have to then appear for UPCATET. The results will be released via merit lists. According to marks and percentages secured, the student will be offered admission.

LPU NEST
The Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts the National Entrance Scholarship Test (NEST) in order to offer students admission in various courses offered at the university. LPU has a department in Agriculture which offers admission in BSc (Hons) and MSc (PG Agriculture). LPU is the first private university to be granted ICAR accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The BSc (Hons) course duration is four-years whereas the MSc course duration is two-years. In order to get admission, students have to clear LPU NEST.
Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for LPU NEST, students need to have passed class 12 with 60 per cent aggregate marks. 5 per cent relaxation is given to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/Defence Personnel and their Dependants/Wards of Kashmir Migrants). 10 per cent relaxation is given to outstanding Sports candidates, subject to verification from the selection committee of the University.
Admission Process: Eligible candidates need to first register and apply online for LPU NEST. Once the candidate has applied, they are clear to appear for LPU NEST. Based on the marks and percentage secured, the candidate will be granted admission to the university.

Before filling out the OUAT Application Form candidates must ensure that they are eligible to appear for the exam.
- Candidates must have completed their Class 10 and 12 in the Science stream with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- General category students need 50 per cent marks in Class 12 (including optional subjects).
- SC/ST/PH candidates need at least 40 per cent marks.
Yes candidates even from outside Maharashtra can also apply for MCAER CET 2026. Candidates from other states needed to pay an application fee of INR 800 per MCAER PG CET exam.
