What is the MAH B.Ed CET?

This state-level annual examination is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra to shortlist candidates for the B.Ed course offered by participating colleges across the state of Maharashtra.   1. Educational Qualification
    • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) or a Master’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum required marks:
      • General Category: 50%
      • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): 45%
    • Candidates pursuing final-year graduation are also eligible but must provide proof of passing at the time of admission.
  2. Age Limit
    • There is no upper age limit to appear for the exam.
  3. Reservation Policy
    • State-reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and PwD candidates are provided relaxation in marks and seats as per Maharashtra government norms.
  4. Domicile Requirements
    • Candidates from Maharashtra are given preference under state quotas, while others can apply under the open category.
