The UP BEd JEE exam is conducted on an annual basis by various government-approved universities on a rotational basis. Since 2023, the exam has been conducted by the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. The candidates from general category need a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation. If they have an engineering background, the minimum is 55%.

Purpose of the UP BEd JEE

As per the official exam pattern released by the exam body, the UP BEd JEE exam consists of two papers. In this section, candidates will assessed based on their awareness of current affairs, geography, history, and general topics from current affairs, sports, and politics.

Language (Hindi or English)

In this section, candidates can choose the subject at their discretion they can either go by Hindi or English. The question paper of this section will test the candidate’s language proficiency and the questions will be based on grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary.

Paper 2

General Aptitude Test (GAT)

This is the GAT section, which is also one of the most important of the whole. In this section, candidates will be asked questions about reasoning ability, logical thinking, and analytical skills.

Subject Ability

In this section, candidates will have to choose a subject either from Arts, Science, Commerce, or Agriculture. In this section, the questions will test candidates' knowledge and understanding of the chosen subject. The difficulty level of the questions will be of 10+2 or graduation level.
