When you’re appearing for the TS EdCET exam, you must cover these two important events.
TS EdCET Admit Card: The official exam conducting body releases the admit card for the exam a few days before the examination. Candidates are required to download the admit card to appear for the exam. The TS EdCET admit card includes the exam centre, candidate name, exam timings, and guidelines. The candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the examination without the hard copy of the admit card.
All left is for the candidate to appear for the exam on the TS EdCET exam date. Make sure to reach the location at least half an hour before the entry begins. Attempt all the questions and wait for the results.
TS EdCET Exam
Among the most important events for the TS EdCET exam is the declaration of the result. Before the result declaration,
TS EdCET Answer Key is released. In the first attempt, the provisional key is released. Candidates can check the answer key and raise valid objections against the questions. They have to pay some amount for every question they raise objections to. After the enquiries and reevaluation, the final answer key is displayed on the website.

TS EdCET Counselling- Post Exam
All the qualified candidates are eligible to appear for the TS EdCET exam counselling. The exam counselling is conducted in multiple phases to fill the college/university seats for the BEd course across Telangana. The seats are filled based on the eligibility criteria and reservations. The main steps that are followed in the counselling process are:
- All the qualified and eligible candidates registering for the TG EdCET counselling on the official website- https://edcetadm.tgche.ac.in/.
- The registration is complete after the processing fee payment. The candidates belonging to SC / ST category have to pay Rs.500/- and all others have to pay Rs.800/- towards processing fee which is non-refundable.
- Original certificate especially CAP/NCC are verified. The candidates belonging to BC/SC/ST Categories are required to upload Integrated Community Certificate duly signed by Mandal Revenue Officer [MRO] obtained after June 2, 2014. Candidates claiming EWS (Economically Weaker Section) should produce EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar valid for the year 2025-26 (i.e. issued for financial year 2024-2025). Further, Candidate seeking admission under special categories (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) must appear in person on the notified dates by slot booking for verification of Special category original certificates before the relevant competent authority.

by the verification officer regarding wrong/improper/irrelevant certificate the candidates are required to respond promptly by reupload the correct certificate. The application is liable to be rejected in case the candidate fails to respond with in the due date or repeatedly uploads wrong/improper/irrelevant certificates.
The candidates must respond to the calls of verification officer from social welfare department to verify the cast certificate submitted by the candidates.
