My college is the best in India.
Placements: Placements are comparable to many top NITs. Placements are kind of nice compared to the rank you can get here. Almost 80% of students get placed in this college. Top recruiters like JP Morgan, Samsung, Apple, Google, etc., come for placement. An electronics engineer is a role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are various electronics engineering laboratories that are fully Wi-Fi and air-conditioned and have access to it. There are various hostels in PEC for boys and girls. Food is kind of good, and the rooms are okayish. There is a dispensary in the PEC market for medical purposes. There are various grounds in college, like athletics, football, basketball, and cricket grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified from various top colleges like NITs, IITs, and many foreign universities. The curriculum is relevant apart from some old courses, such as ed. There is no difficulty in passing the exam, and students can pass the exam by studying one week before the exam.
Other: Due to my passion for electronics, I chose this course. PEC organizes PEC fest every year, which is one of the biggest fests in North India. There are also many other fests organized, including startup fair, summit, trivium, etc.

Good placements but infrastructure is not good.
Placements: In my course, there was a good placement ratio from the past year. 70-80% of students were placed. The average package is 10.5 LPA. JP Morgan, American Express, BMW, and Maruti were the major recruiters for mechanical. Google and Microsoft were also visited for placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not working good. Infrastructure of labs is not as good. Cultural activities are good. Sports activities are average. Hostel facilities are below average. Mess food is average but sometimes we see some careless behaviour of mess staff. There is a PEC market quality and food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified from average colleges. They are helpful but the college curriculum of study is not good. Curriculum of college is not relevant for today's engineers. Difficulty level of the semester exams depends on the subjects. For some subjects, it will be more difficult than other subjects.
Other: College is good for placements but infrastructure of academic buildings and hostels are very disgusting. Professors are not interested in their professions.

Good faculty, average infrastructure, placement is between average and below average.
Placements: 36% of students got placed. The highest package is 19.06 LPA, with an average of 11.56 LPA. Top recruiters are JSW Steel, ZS Associate, and JP Morgan. Metallurgy students often move towards analytics, consulting, and research fields. If you are from the core branches, then you have to focus on other skills, which will be helpful.
Infrastructure: The MME department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms with Wi-Fi, and access to central libraries with external resources. Hostels with decent rooms with Wi-Fi, a common room with 24/7 water and electricity. Mess food is average but hygienic, with an additional canteen option.
Faculty: The faculty of the MME department are highly qualified, Ph.D. holders with huge research experience and are approachable for research and project guidance. The curriculum is relevant, covering core metallurgy topics. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 90%.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: In 2023, the placements offered by different companies were very good, and the highest package was 63 LPA for CSE and 44 LPA for Mechanical. In 2024, the placements didn't reach the previous year's results, it is because it may depend on different factors.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, it won't be able to get your thoughts. If you are thinking that college has good buildings, then it is absolutely wrong. The buildings are older than you, like a typical government building. 2 to 3 buildings are okay, but the remaining are not okay.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, and the faculty teaches well. Exams are conducted at less intervals of time, which is also good. You can enjoy your college life during your first year, but you need to concentrate on your studies as well as your time. There will be no ragging in the college.
