It has good faculty members, good placements, and good campus life.
Placements: The university is really good. In West Bengal, it is considered as the best private university. Recently, it has also got an NAAC accreditation of grade A. The highest package is 1 crore per annum in 2023 and in B.Tech courses, the average package ranges from 10-55 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Capgemini, DTDC, Flipkart, Cognizant, Berger Paints, Aditya Birla Group, Nykaa, Cipla, Abbott, and DHL. More than 100 companies visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are also good. Food quality is very good in the hostel. Wi-Fi facility is given to students. There are pharmacy and doctor facilities 24x7 and for free. Sports and games are done on a regular basis. In the department, there are smart classrooms and AC classrooms are also provided. Lab facilities are very good, and we use a Mac in the computer lab with free Wi-Fi. The university also offers a central library as well as a digital library.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and knowledgeable. Maximum faculty members are good at teaching. The interaction among students and faculty members is good. Individual doubt-solving and interaction facilities are also there. A strong network of successful alumni is also there. Mentors are there for any kind of help which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are standard. The pass criteria is to get about 4 SGPA in each semester.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in this field. There are more opportunities in this field as well as government jobs. Core companies hire students from this background. I think they should teach more than 2 programming languages to non-CSE students as well. Our college organises many fests and events and they are run the whole year on campus. There are extracurricular activities and more than 15 clubs in different fields. Scholarship facilities are also there.

Truth about my college.
Placements: Our college provides nice placement. The average salary package offered in our course is about 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The highest salary package offered in our college is about 1 crore. Many companies visit the college for placements like TCS, Philips, Syska, Adani Power, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has very nice infrastructure. The whole campus is surrounded by Wi-Fi. It has ending machines for packet food. There are 2 canteens, 1 cafe coffee day, 1 Nescafe, and 1 Chinese restaurant. At the Chinese restaurant, the price is also reasonable. It serves awesome food.
Faculty: We have very kind faculty members. They help us. They understand our problems, look into it, and solve them. Semester exams at our college are very good. Teachers also support us with notes and suggestions. Exams are held as per the academic calendar.
Other: In our batch, there are around 20 students. In our university, there are about 16,000 students.

I am satisfied because of the good environment and teachers.
Placements: Our college offers many top roles like electrical power system, electrical machines and power electronics in our course.
Infrastructure: I was not a hostel student, so I do not know about it.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. To to get a job or to become industry-ready, we need to study more. Exams are not very difficult. The course structure is very bad. Basically, it keeps the most important subject in the 11th hour, which is a very bad thing.
Other: I have chosen this course because we use an electrical engineering course every day. So it is relevant. Our college should give more stress on electrical machines. Campus surrounding is very good. Scholarships are available for toppers. There is enough opportunity for building extracurricular activities.

Review of Adamas University.
Placements: I am a final-year student and will pass out in 2021. The highest package offered in the course is about 1.3 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. No reputed companies come here. The percentage of students who got internships is about 50%.
Infrastructure: For my department, the infrastructure is good. It has enriched classrooms, library and other facilities. The quality of the hostel is not good. It offers good facilities, but it's quite costly for any students. Games, gym and sports facilities are available but not for students. The college management is not satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and knowledgeable. We got the required information and response from our teachers. The quality of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is not relevant. It never makes the students industry-ready. No industrial visit was organised, nor an internship was provided by the college.

This university promised that it offers a lot but does not meet our expectations in the end.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered here was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are TCS, Sintex BAPL and DTDC. About 40% of the students got internships from here. Top roles offered are trainee engineers.
Infrastructure: There is a lack of a proper Wi-Fi facility on the entire campus. Labs are available but are not properly maintained and lack equipment. Classrooms and the library are average, and there is a scope of adding books and journals in libraries. The quality of facilities provided in the hostel is average, and canteen and medical facilities are average. Sports and games have a scope of improvement.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Their teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum lacks proper clarity and lag behind a lot in making students industry-ready as it contains less practicals and more bookish theory.
Other: I had chosen this course and stream as there is a lot of application of this course in our modern-day world and industry. The best thing about our course is that there is a lot of scope to create new things with our innovative ideas, and this course needed to be upgraded from time to time for its sustainability. I want my course to have more practicals or have a proper balance between practicals and theory. Events and fest should be held many times annually, and many students should be encouraged to actively participate in them. Our college lacks scholarship schemes or does not provide proper aids as I was promised during the time of admission as per the clause. The campus crowd and campus surroundings are good. Extracurricular activities are average. The campus lacks proper connectivity between students, especially for foreign and distant students.

The university is average.
Placements: About 70-80% of the students got placed in our university, but the salary package offered is not that good. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but I know that hostels are very expensive in this university. There is free Wi-Fi, but labs are not well-modified. Sports and gyms are available only for hostelers but not for day scholars.
Faculty: Teachers are good and well-qualified, and their teaching quality is also good. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: Students who are financially good can opt for this university. Otherwise, I suggest not to opt for it.

It is a good and healthy campus to study.
Placements: Currently, I'm pursuing my B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from Adamas University, Kolkata. I am a final year student, and I will pass out in 2021. In our course, about 90% of students got placed. The lowest and the highest packages offered in our course are 1.77 LPA and 3.6 LPA, respectively. The recruiting companies are TCS, Jaro Group, Infosys, DTDC, Pinnacle Infotech Solutions etc. About 95% of students got internship opportunities from our course and in Bridge and Roof.Co (India) Ltd., Ramaesis Reality, etc., companies. The roles offered in our course are manager, system engineer etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our courses are Wi-Fi, computer labs, electrical labs, classrooms, library etc. The quality of facilities in our hostel is very good. The food quality in the canteen is good and hygienic, and there is a good spirit for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready. At the same time, there are other helpful classes like career development classes, domain knowledge classes, technical classes held in our course to make students aware of the current industry situation.
Other: I chose this course because of the facilities, teachers and the environment. Fests are conducted here. Scholarships are provided. Many other activities are conducted in our university.

I am satisfied with the teachers as they want to know what is the need of students.
Placements: I got a job from placement support in January. After that, I didn't get a chance to sit for placements. Almost 65-70% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.74 LPA. The top recruiting company is Jaro Education in terms of salary, which is a non-core company. Almost everyone got an internship from our course, and I did an internship in Ramaesis RPL.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is not that good because of the very poor Wi-Fi network. Machines available in the labs are back-dated. When we are in the mid of the 3rd year, a few of the machines are upgraded by our HOD. Our classrooms and library are good. In the hostel, many facilities are available, but we didn't get those facilities. In terms of money, canteen food is not good enough. Medical facilities are not bad, and sports are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and very helpful. The teaching quality is also very good. We don't have industry-related studies. From the starting of the course to before lockdown, we visited industries once. It does not make students industry-ready. Industry-related studies are very important for practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like electrical materials, and my family background is from electrical. I grew up by seeing the substation. If our course subjects are a bit more industry-related, it would be better for the upcoming students. Events and fests are good. Still, extracurricular activities like singing, music classes, dancing, drawings, etc., are also important, so I suggest our college to look into it.
