Admissions to AIIMS Bathinda for the academic year 2026 are currently open. The mode of application is entirely online. All admissions across various medical programmes at AIIMS are entrance-based, requiring candidates to qualify in national-level entrance examinations and participate in centralized counseling. Candidates must satisfy the specific eligibility criteria for their chosen course.

Selection Criteria

• MBBS: Admission is granted based on qualifying scores in NEET-UG, followed by central counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
• MD / MS / MCh: Admission is based on INI-CET scores, followed by AIIMS-specific centralised seat allocation.
• BSc & MSc Nursing: Admission requires qualifying the AIIMS Nursing Entrance Exam, conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.
• BSc Paramedical Courses (eg, Medical Radiography & Imaging Technology): Admission is based on the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam, conducted by AIIMS Delhi. Candidates have to sit for the counselling process to be considered in the admission process.

AIIMS Bathinda Application Process 2026

Applicants should not register directly on the AIIMS Bathinda website for initial course applications. Applications must be submitted through the official portals of the respective entrance examinations:

1. Visit the official NTA NEET website (for MBBS) or the AIIMS Exams portal (for INI-CET / Nursing) and complete the online registration form.
2. Upload required documents and pay the prescribed entrance exam fee online.
3. Appear for the respective examination and secure a valid qualifying score/rank to proceed to counselling.
4. Create an account on the MCC portal (for NEET-UG) or the AIIMS allotment portal and select AIIMS Bathinda as a preferred choice during choice filling.
5. Upon receiving a seat allotment, report physically to the AIIMS Bathinda campus to submit original documents and pay the requisite admission fees.
