MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. AKTU offers MBA at campus through the Institute of Engineering & Technology, UP Institute of Design and Faculty of Management Studies. Interested candidates should check the eligibility requirements before applying for any of the MBA courses. Aspirants who have passed the bachelor's degree/ equivalent examination can apply for the MBA course. Selection rounds: Candidates will be shortlisted for B.Ed admission based on IPU CET score.

The selection of candidates to AKTU's BTech programme is based on their UPSEE ranks. The counselling process is also managed and regulated by UPSEE based on which the candidates are allotted seats. However, AKTU has reserved 20% of the total sanctioned seats for the candidates with a valid JEE Main score. JEE Main-qualified candidates are exempted from UPSEE and need to register directly for the counselling process. Master of computer Applications (MCA) admission at Institute of Engineering and Technology AKTU is offered to the students on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam.

AKTU MCA fees is 64775 INR (yearly) for two years.

The eligibility criteria for opting for MCA degree in AKTU  is as follows:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. 
• Candidates have studied Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or during graduation.
• Candidates should have a valid score in the UPSEE entrance exam which is conducted by AKTU or any other equivalent national level entrance exam.
• It is also important for the candidates to meet the age criteria set by the university.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), has 49 affiliated colleges and 785 institutes under its name that offer a total of 25 UG, PG and PhD programmes across numerous specialisations and streams. Some of the most popular streams are Engineering, Business & Management Studies, IT Software, Medicine & Health Sciences, Design and Science. Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Class 12 from UP board/ CBSE or any other equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% aggregate in Class 12 (40% for SC/ ST candidates) to apply for BTech course.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University commenced the UPTAC counselling 2024 registration at the official website. First year of B.Tech is same for all branches at AKTU. Syllabus of first year is designed to introduce students with basics of all engineering branches.
