Annamalai University offers two BPharm courses, one General and another Lateral Entry.  To get a seat in either of the courses, students must start by applying for the choice of course. After completion of the application stage. The university allocates seats based on students' merit in the qualifying examination. Those offered a seat must report to the university for verification of documents. Lastly, students must pay for admission to secure their seats.

Annamalai University boasts 6,000+ seats reserved for the BSc programme. Out of which 5000+ seats are reserved for admission in distance education mode. Moreover, the distribution of seats among various BSc specialisations may vary, depending on the university's specific allocation for each specialisation.

The total tuition fee for BSc ranges from INR 27,500 to INR 55,000, as per an official document. The fee varies as per the specialisation. Other than this, the hostel fees for students opting for hostel facilities range from INR 45,000 to INR 2.25 lakh.

Yes, the Annamalai University 2024-25 brochure states the age limit set for admission to its various UG courses, including BSc. As per the guidelines, candidates, who are more than 17 years old. Apart from this, the upper age limit set for admissions is 21 years old. Only those candidates who fulfill this and course-specific requirements will be considered for admission. However, for SC/ST/SA  candidates, there is no age limit.

Candidates have to fill out the application form online an submit it in offline mode. Aspirants can send the filled-in application form to the campus address via post. Candidates can also submit the form along with the specified documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC. 

Annamalai University Distance Education offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Candidates can get a seat directly through Spot Admission. Aspirants have to submit the filled-in application form along with the documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC in-person to get direct admission. All Spot Admissions are subject to confirmation or cancellation (if found ineligible) by the Director, CD&OE.

Annamalai University admissions are conducted based on merit and entrance which may differ as per the course opted for. Candidates opting for UG level degree must obtain a minimum aggregate of 40% to 50% in Class 12. Similarly, candidates pursuing for PG level programme must  secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Additionally, candidates require to pursue either of the class from Class 8 to Class 12 along with a 'Nativity Certificate' to be eligible for admission at Annamalai University. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in suggested entrance exams such as NEET UG/ PG, IMUCET, TANCET, CEETA etc.
