CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

Assam University accepts admission through various national-level, state-level & university-level entrance exams. CUET-UG is also one of those entrance exams that Assam University enrol candidates. 

Students need to prepare well for the CUET-UG exam because only those candidates can register further for the admission process whose rank or scorecard will be within the range specified by the university, i.e. merit list, which will be released on Assam University's official website. 

Apart from CUET-UG, there are several other gateway exams for admission to Assam University, such as JEE-Main, CAT, WSAT, CUCET, etc.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. As per the latest report, the highest package offered to CSE students during 2023 placements was INR 6 LPA and was offered by Hexaware Technologies. Earlier, the highest package offered in 2022 was comparatively higher and the amount stood at INR 10 LPA.
