The worst management and professors lack the interest to teach. No proper placements.
Placements: None of our seniors got placed as there were no proper placements. Students must do job hunt on their own. Around 90% of students get internships on their own as it is included in the curriculum. A fresher with M.Sc in applied genetics can expect an average package of 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Department has all basic needs like clean classrooms, study area, seminar hall, and good equipment in labs for practicals. Wi-Fi can be accessed only in the library. It has various textbooks, journals, old question papers, and even online portals for students' reference. Hostel has the best food and rooms, movement is restricted to allocated timings. Students can bring their own sports equipment and play during their free hours. A small hospital is located in university for students' medical consultations.
Faculty: Guest lecturers are not much knowledgeable and some are not qualified enough and others have knowledge but can't explain it to us. The curriculum is well-made based on what is needed by students for industrial purposes. Regular seminars are conducted for us to understand the research aspects of the topics we are taught. Semester exams can be passed easily as long as one has referred to all the old question papers. The pass percentage is around 70 to 80%.

The best college for genetics.
Placements: The placements are good. The students get the opportunity to research here only, and few companies visit here for placement, but most of the students choose research instead of jobs. In the college, the placements are processed through application sent at city college near majestic, and the salary offered was around Rs. 15 to 20 thousand per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. All the laboratories have the necessary equipment. The standard operating protocols are followed. The library has all the latest edition books. It has a big playground to play, and it has a swimming pool, temples, and hostel facility. The canteen facility is there and serves with tasty food.
Faculty: The faculty members here are nice, cooperative, helpful, and gives us in-depth knowledge of subjects and clears all our doubts. The course curriculum is well-designed as per the industry requirement and is very comprehensible and understandable with the course matter about practical knowledge.
Other: The college is locating close to Mysore road. The metro station is making it easily and comfortably accessible. The college is also accessible to the number of buses that are going to various parts of the city, and it has its own bus stop that helps the student in boarding and deboarding at university easily.
