Candidates who have secured admission in Bharath Institute of Higher Education are open to financial assistance by the university. BIHER offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to M.Tech students. Under this scholarship, a 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to students who are economically challenged based on their performance in the qualifying exam. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility requirements for availing the scholarship benefits. Apart from this, the university also provides Founder's Scholarships. It is the most prestigious scholarship with full fee waiver of tuition fee. This is provided through out the course subject to meeting set performance norms. BIHER also provide loans and banking assistance to raise finance for the study of economically-weak students. Aspirants meeting the set criteria can avail the loan facility.
MTech is a professional postgraduate engineering master degree programme awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering. No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification. In case a candidate is unable to submit his or her document or could not provide his or her eligibility will not be granted admission. Once, the admission is granted, aspirants need to pay a total fee of INR 2 Lacs to confirm their seat in the university. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. After payment of the fee, the seat is confirmed in the university.
