The total fee of M.Tech is INR 2 Lacs at Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. M.Tech fee is common for all the specialisation. M.Tech is available in 12 specialsiations, namely Information Technology, Defence Technology, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Embedded Systems, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Additionally, Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. Aspirants will need to show the payment slip during the verification process. 

 Candidates must pass BE/ BTech or its equivalent exam approved by UGC/ AICTE in an appropriate branch with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA  to apply for the M.Tech course. Bharath University allows direct admission to its open distance learning courses offered by BIHER online. Interested candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of their desired course and then apply to the programme through online or offline modes.

However, admission to BIHER regular courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the predetermined BIHER admission process to secure a seat in their desired course. 

BIHER conducts its own Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) to provide admission to UG Engineering courses. The Bharath University's highest package has been offered the best in 2023 in comparison to last two years. The highest package offered during the 2022 placement drive stood at INR 14 LPA.
