No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification. In case a candidate is unable to submit his or her document or could not provide his or her eligibility will not be granted admission. Once, the admission is granted, aspirants need to pay a total fee of INR 2 Lacs to confirm their seat in the university. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. After payment of the fee, the seat is confirmed in the university.

The total fee of M.Tech is INR 2 Lacs at Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. M.Tech fee is common for all the specialisation. M.Tech is available in 12 specialsiations, namely Information Technology, Defence Technology, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Embedded Systems, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Additionally, Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode.
