Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification. In case a candidate is unable to submit his or her document or could not provide his or her eligibility will not be granted admission. Once, the admission is granted, aspirants need to pay a total fee of INR 2 Lacs to confirm their seat in the university. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. MTech is a professional postgraduate engineering master degree programme awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering.
