Candidates who have secured admission in Bharath Institute of Higher Education are open to financial assistance by the university. BIHER offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to M.Tech students. Under this scholarship, a 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to students who are economically challenged based on their performance in the qualifying exam. The total fee of M.Tech is INR 2 Lacs at Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. M.Tech fee is common for all the specialisation. M.Tech is available in 12 specialsiations, namely Information Technology, Defence Technology, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Embedded Systems, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Additionally, Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. Aspirants will need to show the payment slip during the verification process. 

 Candidates must pass BE/ BTech or its equivalent exam approved by UGC/ AICTE in an appropriate branch with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA  to apply for the M.Tech course. Aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility requirement before applying for the M.Tech course. M.Tech is available in various specialisations, namely Information Technology, Defence Technology, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Embedded Systems, Computer Science Engineering, etc. Eligibility of all the M.Tech specialisation is almost same. However, for some specialisation, candidates need to hold degree in specific subjects. The documents like graduation marksheet and final scorecard must be ready with the candidates for verification process.

MTech is a professional postgraduate engineering master degree programme awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering. No, the university does not accept GATE or any other entrance exam score. Admission to M.Tech course is purely based on merit. Bharath University shortlists candidates for M.Tech based on their score in the last qualifying exam. BIHER releases a merit list announcing the names of selected aspirants. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round. Aspirants need to bring the documents proving their eligibility for verification. In case a candidate is unable to submit his or her document or could not provide his or her eligibility will not be granted admission. Once, the admission is granted, aspirants need to pay a total fee of INR 2 Lacs to confirm their seat in the university. The fee might include, components other than the tuition fee. After payment of the fee, the seat is confirmed in the university.

As per the latest report, the participating recruiters placed 1,616 students of the institute in various sectors with new-age job roles. Earlier, 1,434 students were placed during the 2021 placement drive. Yes, aspirants who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis but at the time of admission such a candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/ marksheet from the respective examination provided that he /she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled.
