Faculty: Teachers in our department are highly qualified. They are experienced and very helpful. Most of them hold Ph.D. or postgraduate degrees in their respective fields. They are approachable. They always ready to clarify doubts both inside and outside the classroom. The teaching methods include interactive lectures, presentations, practical sessions, and project-based learning, which make concepts easier to understand. Overall, the teaching quality is excellent. I'm absolutely dissatisfied.
Placements: For the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course at Brainware University, about 98 percent of students are reported placed in recent batches, and in my B.Sc. Agriculture course at Brainware University, the highest package offered is around 7 LPA, the average about 3.5 LPA, and the lowest approximately 2 LPA for fresh graduates.
Infrastructure: The Agriculture department at Brainware University has modern Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, advanced laboratories for soil science, genetics, and microbiology, and a well-stocked library with journals and e-resources, and students gain hands-on experience through field training, farm visits, and practical sessions, supported by smart learning tools and excellent infrastructure for research and students.
Faculty: At Brainware University, many students describe the semester exams as fairly challenging, some say the papers are quite tough if proper preparation isn’t done, and the official pass mark is 40 percent (i.e., a letter grade ‘P’ equivalent) in both internal assessment and term-end exams in each course, and specific semester pass percentages vary by programme.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Agriculture because I’m passionate about farming, crops, and sustainable food production, and the best parts of the course are its practical learning, field visits, and exposure to modern agricultural technologies that help build knowledge in soil science, crop management, and environment sustainability for future agricultural innovation.

This college is very good.
Placements: Around 70- 80 percent of students from my course were placed. The highest package was about 6 LPA, the lowest around 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Nearly 60 percent got internships in similar companies, with roles like trainee engineer and assistant analyst.
Infrastructure: The department has good facilities like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and the food in the mess and canteen is average but hygienic. Medical facilities are available, and the campus also supports various sports and games for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and easy to understand. The course curriculum is well-designed and mostly relevant to the industry. It helps students gain practical knowledge, though adding more hands-on training would make it even better.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in agriculture and its practical applications. The best thing is the balance between theory and fieldwork. However, I wish there were more workshops and industrial visits. The campus crowd is good, and events, fests, and extracurricular activities make college life enjoyable.
