Really good infrastructure and facilities at SNU.

Placements: No batch of agriculture has passed out yet. The highest package is 8LPA, and the lowest is 2LPA. Some of the top companies for placements include IFFCO, NABARD, SEED, and other seed and fertilizer companies. The first batch of students in our department is currently undergoing their internship, with approximately 60% of students securing internships.

Infrastructure: In our course, Wi-Fi facilities are available, along with spacious classrooms and a well-equipped library. However, lab facilities are subpar, lacking the necessary machinery. The hostel quality is generally good, though occasional issues arise with food quality. Medical facilities are accessible, and annual sports events and football tournaments are organized by SNU and faculty.

Faculty: The teachers are supportive and hold Ph.D. qualifications. The overall teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is deemed relevant. Every semester, students are required to take two exams, and passing both is essential as the total marks from both exams contribute to the final grade, with a 50% pass requirement.

Other: I chose agriculture due to my keen interest in plants and a desire to understand the correct methods of plant production and improvement. An improvement in the practical copy submission system would enhance the overall experience.

Our college is very good.

Placements: More than 40% of students got placed in our college. Companies don't visit our college to recruit our course students. Our college provides internship opportunities. We are the first batch in our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are not good. The food served in the canteen is not good.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The mid-semester exams are not much difficult. The end-semester exams are difficult.

Other: I opted for this course to become a bank manager.

Placements: Our course has started in 2020. There are no passed-out batches. Our college provides proper placements in many other departments. Our college provides placements in well-known companies like Amazon. Our course has great scope.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. They provide a healthy environment for every student. They provide facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms equipped with projectors. The hostel provides good accommodation and transport facilities. The food served in the hostel is not good.

Our college location is very beneficial.

Placements: Our branch has more than 220 students including the first, second, and third years. We are from the first branch. There are no passed-out students in our batch. Our college started placements in 2020.

Infrastructure: The hostel accommodation is totally on Sandree Home Services Private Limited. They provide good places. The food served in the hostel is good. They also provide transport facilities for students. The infrastructure of our classrooms is good. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The food served in the canteen is expensive.

Faculty: Our teachers are very friendly. They are qualified. They have completed their doctorates. They have more than enough knowledge for the course. The teaching quality is well-mannered. They teach us according to ICAR based syllabus. Semester exams are difficult but our faculty members provide well practice notes in PDFs, so it becomes easy to pass the exam.

Other: I opted for this course because it has good scope for the future.

Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting company is The Mahindra Agriculture Branch. Almost 70% of students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with good facilities. The Wi-Fi facility is the best. Labs are useful. Classrooms are good and beautiful. Our college has a useful library. It is a good university to have your wonderful college memories alongside quality education.

Placements: As for placements, I can confidently say that about 20% of students in this course got placed. The highest package offered was around 7-8 Lacs per annum, while the lowest package was 2-3 LPA. The average package goes around 4-5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Big Basket, Tata Alliance, Godrej Agrovet, Kaveri Seed Company Ltd., etc. About 30% of students in the course got internships at various companies related to production technology and agro-industries. Students got placed for posts like agronomical seed analyst, horticultural farm associate, farm data analyst, timber production officer etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are pretty much decent, and I feel that it could still be better. The campus offers you spacious classrooms with air-conditioning facilities alongside 2 campus libraries and 1 digital library. Smart classrooms are also available along with Wi-Fi. Besides all this, the campus also has a canteen and cafeteria where students can meet. I must say that the food quality in hostel is average. The hostel has ample medical facilities along with indoor games, basketball and badminton court.

Faculty: The faculty members in our university are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They try to help the most out of their students, and the overall teaching quality is quite good. The curriculum is completely based on ICAR. The college conducts two exams every semester in this course. Mid-semester exams are quite easy if you've all the concepts with you. The curriculum makes the students well-developed in thought process and prepares them for their future aspects. The pass percentage is 40%, but there's no reason for being afraid as teachers are always there to help you out.

Other: The campus really has a healthy environment along with superb connectivity. We periodically have college fests and functions along with scholarship programs during the entire span of the semester. There are primarily two campuses for this course in the university. The main campus is located near the Biswa Bangla gate and has excellent connectivity through the highways. The arts acre campus for this course is also situated in a wonderful location full of organic views, ideal for agricultural studies.

No comment but the all over it is good .

Placements: I don't have any specific information about that but yes there's a good amount of students placed in my college. The highest is 51lpa, average is 6.5lpa and the lowest is 2.5 to 4lpa. The top recruiting companies from my course are TCS, Wipro, Infosys. The top roles offered in my course is agricultural officer, agribusiness officer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and faculty members are good here but the quality of the hostel can be improved and the prices of the food in canteen can be bit more reasonable and reliable. I didnt SEE much of sports and games but the facilities are quite is great and the institute is quite friendly .

Faculty: Yes they were helpful and are highly qualified and knowledgeable and the teacher quality was good. Yes it is relevant and it makes the student industry ready. It was a bit difficult as I joined late in this course in sister nivedita university. It is all over good institute and im quite impressed by the facilities.

Other: I chose this course as this course in future will get me a better future in Next 5 to 6 years and will help to promote agriculture, more better guidance and a bit more attention. I haven't experienced any event or fests and don't have any information regarding that.

Good faculty, amazing atmosphere, pretty cool facilities, good location, and placements are good.

Placements: It got around 80 placements last year, with a few students getting placements in good posts. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Webel visit here. The highest package was around INR 10 lakh, and the lowest was INR 3 lakh. Private chemical industries showed a good interest in the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, but class rooms are not air-conditioned. WiFi is not for students. Labs are pretty cool with all the equipment present. Classrooms have no AC. The library has many books and is accessible to all students. Sports are played.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and supportive. Teachers are very helpful. Semester exams are quite hard. But the passing percentage is above 90%. Exams are taken twice in a semester, one for the first term and the other for the final term. Yes, the course is relevant.

Other: The best thing about my course is that you get to come close to nature.
