There are many subjects popular in B.Sc. But in my opinion, you need to choose it according to your interest and your goals that lead your future. 

Mostly, the popular subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, agriculture and nursing are preferred by students due to the high demand. 

You need to find your interest and choose which subject is according to your knowledge or choice.

I'm from Jharkhand and here in my knowledge there are most of the students who prefer B.Sc in agriculture due to its wide range of demand. And here the government also provides government jobs in our area. This is all because here the weather conditions are so good for agriculture.

CDLU course admissions are based on entrance exam scores. Candidates must also fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements for the respective courses. Candidates must visit the CDLU admission portal to apply for the respective courses. Further, the university also accepts CUET scores for various courses such as BA, BSc, etc. Similarly, CUET-PG scores are also accepted for MSc, MCA, etc. Students can check some of the course-wise entrance exam from the table presented below:

As per official source, CDLU admissions 2025 will be open soon, candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University. The GATE 2025 registrations are open for admission to the M.Tech course.

The university offers more than 25 courses in various fields.  To get admission to the CDLU, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. For a UG degree, candidates must complete Class 12 and for a PG degree, aspirants must complete graduation. CDLU offers BSc and BSc (Hons) in specialisations like Chemistry, Physics, Medical Science, Computer Science, Textile and Fashion Design, etc. The tuition fee for various BSc courses at CDLU ranges between INR 58,000 and INR 1 Lakh. The average salary pacakge across all BSc specialisations is INR 1.2 LPA, as per the NIRF Report 2022. MDU Rohtak also offers BSc and BSc (Hons) in specialisation like Computer Science, Medical, Non-Medical, Biotechnology, etc. MDU BSc fee ranges between INR 2,400 and INR 1.8 Lakh. The average salary package for various courses ranges between INR 1.3 LPA - INR 3.9 LPA. Among CDLU and MDU for BSc, candidates must choose the one that offers their desired specialisation. Other comparison factors may include infrastructure, faculty, campus life, etc. The students reviewed the two universities on Shiksha.com based on the aforementioned factors. The overall rating for CDLU was 3.6/5. On the other hand, MDU got an overall rating 3.7/5.

The Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) that the students at CDLU can avail of is an inititative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Students belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) and other backward castes (OBC) are eligible to apply for PMS. Applicants must be pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses from a recognised institute. Applicants must have a domicile of Haryana and their family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Haryana is NAAC accredited government university. It offers many courses to the candidates who want to take admission in CDLU. The annual tuition fees for the B.Tech course is INR 160000. The fees for the B.Tech course is quite affordable as compared to the B.Tech courses of other colleges. The eligibility criteria for the students who want to join the B.Tech course is that they must have scored more than 45% marks in their 12th board examination or any other equivalent 10+2 examination from any recognised education board of India. They admit students on the basis of their performance in the JEE Mains and HSTES entrance examination.

The official placement report or brochure is not out yet. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2022 which includes the 2021 placement statistics for various UG and PG courses. Out of 88 UG (3-year) students, 3 were placed during 2021 placements. For PG (2-year) courses, 2 out of 718 students were placed.
