If you are taking admission here, rethink, please!!

Placements: I am currently in 3rd Year B.Tech and no students have been placed as yet for us although internship opportunities were offered for web development and full-stack domains. Other domains are not concentrated on. The companies are average level with packages around 5 LPA. The number of companies for final years that come for placements is 5-6 and mostly Web Dev.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available on certain floors, and new labs are built with good connections along with projectors. We have a library with books for all domains. The hostel is also great with all the facilities required for staying. The mess is fine a little pricey. There are no medical facilities provided. We can play games at our own will and with our equipment, cricket facilities are good but other sports are average or below average at times.

Faculty: The curriculum can be improved, We don't have faculties for all subjects. Some subject teachers are good but some need improvement. The syllabus is not always completed before examinations and the teaching level is low. Semester exams are not tough and examination invigilation is lenient.

Other: My department is artificial intelligence and data science but companies come only for full stack. Besides this practical classes are hardly taken. Some good workshops are organized but they are not enough for us to get a good knowledge of the subject.

Placements: I'm pursuing a B.Tech in AI at DY Patil University, Pune (Ambi Campus). Here is what I know about placements and internships. Placements and internship opportunities are really good. The highest package offered is 70 LPA, the average package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 6.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, machine learning engineer, and business analyst.

Infrastructure: The campus is pretty well-equipped, and it has everything you need for studying, staying healthy, and having fun. Whether it's a quiet place in the library, a chilled-out evening on the campus, or an intense game on the sports ground, there's something for everyone.

Faculty: If you're serious about AI, you take advantage of the labs, faculty guidance, and projects. This course really gives you a solid foundation. It's not too hard to pass, but also not a cakewalk, just a good balance. Of course, there is room for improvement, like in any college, but if you stay active and make use of what's offered, you will get a lot of it.

Other: If you are someone who wants to get into AI, with a mix of good academics, solid campus life, and a healthy vibe, DY Patil University is honestly a great option.

The infrastructure and facilities are really good.

Placements: The percentage of students who are placed in my college is 75%, who are eligible to sit in the placement round. The highest package offered is 11 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package is around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture and Cognizant. Almost every student gets an internship in our course, who are eligible. The top roles offered are programmer, analyst, trainee, and associate.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs with high-speed internet for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. We have a library that has almost all the books by all the authors for our course. The hostel is also very well-equipped with high-speed internet, a water purifier on each and every floor, 24-hour electricity backup, hot water, indoor games, a gym, and all the basic facilities. The food quality in the canteen is also great, and rate of food is also cheap. For sports and games, we have a dedicated ground where we can play, enjoy, and learn different sports such as football, cricket, badminton, and table tennis.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with PhDs in different fields. The teaching quality is also great. The course curriculum is updated every year as per industry standards. The college makes students industry-ready. The exams in college are moderate. The pass percentage is 60%.

Other: I chose this course because I am very passionate about AI and want to contribute to developing an indigenous AI model. The best part of the course is that every day, one can learn new things as AI is getting better and better every day, with new tools like DeepSeek, Copilot, etc. Events and fests are also organized every semester.

Placements: Few students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. The recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Persistent. Around 40-50% of students get placed. The roles offered are debugger, programmer, etc.

Infrastructure: Many classrooms and labs are available in our college for students. Computers have proper specifications like I7 processors, 1 TB SSD, and an 800 Mbps network. Wi-Fi is provided. The infrastructure of our college is the best. It has one of the best canteens that serve good quality food.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified and deserving. They encourage students in their self-development. They conduct skilled boot camps to make students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult for those who attend lectures regularly. They teach students in an understanding manner.

Other: Important topics should be included in the syllabus. They conduct different events like hackathons, sports, gatherings, and so on.
