The college has the best faculty, infrastructure, and societies.
Placements: As a student of B.Com. (Hons), I really want to work for companies like the Big 4, such as Deloitte, and many more. They provide placements in our college. Even in my first year, I see a lot of students get placed through my college, so it feels motivating to be in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best, with aesthetic walls, the Art Squad, a ground, and many more facilities. Games and sports are also available here. Different societies provide you with different experiences and many more opportunities. In short, it has one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty of Gargi is very helpful and supportive. They are always there to help you or solve your doubts. They are educated and provide practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. If we have to talk about the papers, there is a moderate level of difficulty.
Other: The events, societies, and fests are crazy and very enjoyable.

Beautiful campus and facilities.
Placements: Talking about on-campus placements, only 1 student got placed at Bluevine. Internships are mainly in NGOs, psychology, graphic designing, etc. However, most people do not go for placements, and they prefer going for Master's in colleges like DSE, JNU, etc.
Infrastructure: Library consists of two complete racks for Sociology along with other books. Classrooms are equipped with fans. ACs are not available. College is equipped with infrastructure for PWD candidates with ramps and toilets. Hostel is not available in the college.
Faculty: Most of the professors in the Sociology department are approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. This ensures that there is a gap between studying for school and studying for college. The course is mainly theoretical in nature, helping students get into public policy, international relations, law, research, and teaching. The semester exams are quite easy, and most students pass.
Other: JMC is a fairly active college with active societies. Competitions and events keep happening often. However, the college fest, Montage, was cancelled in 2026. The Campus area is also relatively safe because it is situated in Chanakyapuri, along with good connectivity through Durgabai Deshmukh and Lok Kalyan metro stations.

Genuine review of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi by Vipul Vats.
Placements: Around 40-50 percent of the students got placements. Internships had a slightly higher percentage, around 60 percent. The highest package that went in the past 2 years was approximately 19 LPA, while the average package remains 4.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. All the big four companies have visited the campus, but in recent times, KPMG, Wipro, Dyson, Bajaj Capital, Accenture, and Code Young have been there. Top roles offered are human resources, data analytics, content writing, business development, research, and finance.
Infrastructure: The college has a superb infrastructure. There are new buildings, AC classrooms, an AC 3-floor library, and air-conditioned science and computer labs. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi connection available for students and staff. It has lifts, since it is a floor-formatted building. The hostel is also very good. The quality of food is very well loved by my students, which is not very common in government institutions' hostels. There is a dedicated medical room. The college ground is a little smaller when looked at in size. But there are separate indoor badminton courts, table tennis, and a gym.
Faculty: The faculty in the college is quite good. Some senior professors are constantly engaged in university work like question paper information, meetings, etc. Teachers like Renu Aggarwal Ma'am and Deepak Sehgal Sir have more than 30 years of experience in teaching. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They mentor students regularly. The course is as prescribed by the University of Delhi. After NEP 2020, the course has been upgraded, new papers have been added, like skill enhancement and value addition courses. Semester exams aren't very difficult and are based on past years' examination questions. One can easily pass them with a good CGPA.

Gargi ecosystem through the eyes of a Gargian.
Placements: The placement cell is active. Summer internships are provided, but they are generally commerce-oriented. Science and humanities students find it difficult to engage with them. Most of the internships are related to marketing and social media promotions.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are generally spacious, and ventilation is good. But some classes are too small for our class, so the class allotment needs to be worked upon. ACs are not provided, even though it's too hot in Delhi. Wi-Fi is also not readily available everywhere.
Faculty: Faculty is generally very helpful, but some professors seem not very serious about the lectures. Overall, material is provided, but the schedule becomes very hectic around exams due to extra classes by the professors. Most professors are really helpful, and they teach really well.
Other: College has a good number of societies with really good standards. Several seminars keep taking place. The fest is also really good, so overall campus life is really good.

The one and only Ramjas.
Placements: I don't think it is really good to be in Ramjas for placements. You have to do your own work on your skills. That's it. It is my opinion that a lot of big companies are not there for placements, so it should be improved so that students can really get the benefit from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is not so good. About the hostel, there are so many problems. Students are not getting hostel rooms. I am just talking about my course infrastructure. Otherwise, overall, the infrastructure is so good. There is greenery, and the exposure is really good.
Faculty: Teachers teach so well, and some are too good. Overall, the teaching staff is nice and talented. I like my teachers because of their hard work and giving their best to studies. But still, some of the teachers are not really serious about their subjects and don't put in any effort. But I am giving this four stars because those teachers who give their best are really talented.

Good faculty and infrastructure. Fair placements.
Placements: A fair number of students got placed with packages ranging from 5 LPA. Companies like Google have reached out in past years to recruit students. The placements are limited to a few courses. Internship opportunities are limited and very few.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with clean and well-functioning classrooms. Labs are available. A well-functioning library with a range of books and journals is available. The cafeteria food is fairly okay. Hostels are available. The sports ground is clean and well maintained. Medical rooms are well supplied.
Faculty: Faculty is well versed with their own subjects and domains. Teachers are kind and helpful. They are ready to solve doubts and listen to problems Teachers are knowledgeable and ready to impart the same to students. They are understanding with regard to issues.

No, teachers in this institute are highly biased like Mr Das . he mistreats female students and prefer only buttering and Bengalis. so it's better not to destroy your career in this worthless institute if you are Hard working.Β
