Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and is accredited by NAAC with a 'B' grade. The university is a unitary, Maharashtra state Technological University in Lonere, Maharashtra. It is named after Babasaheb Ambedkar. DBATU has signed MoUs with various institutions and organisations, including Serum Institute of India, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, among others. Presently, more than 415 institutes are affiliated with the University, and the total student strength is 2 lakh.
Established in 1989, Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University is a Public university. DBATU Admission Process and Dates 2025
DBATU course admissions are entrance-based. The university offers the BTech programme at the UG level and the MTech programme at the PG level. For admission to its BTech programme, the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University accepts at least 45% aggregate in Class 12 and the JEE Mains exam scorecard. However, for Maharashtra candidates, MHT CET score is considered by the University for granting admission.
