Placement are okay. It is recommended.
Placements: 800 students are placed in the B.Tech CSE and in our AI course more than 300 students are placed. The maximum package is 7.5 LPA to 8 LPA and the average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The job fields are good before 2022 but now this is okay. Top recurring companies are TCS Accenture Infosys, and High Radius. 1200 students are in B.Tech in different courses. The top role offered in our course is a more comprehensive package with a higher salary.
Infrastructure: The hostels provided are okay and manageable. They offer 2 BHK 3 BHK, and 5 BHK rooms with attached washrooms and bathrooms. They provide 2 GB of Wi-Fi for every student per day in the room. The class infrastructure is okay. The quality of the mess food is okay and the canteen food is very tasty.
Faculty: Every teacher is more knowledgeable and qualified but some of them are helpful. Maximum teachers assist us with knowledge. Teaching quality is okay. If the questions are made by the college faculty then the questions will be easy for us. If they are made by outside institutes then they may be difficult. The pass percent is 80 to 90 percent.

Well-qualified teachers, good placements, and overall a satisfying college experience.
Placements: Around 80 to 90 percent of students were placed in our course during the last admission period. The company provides the highest package of 25 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is around 8 to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: Our Department of Computer Science and Engineering provides many facilities. All classrooms are smart classrooms with projectors, digital boards, and centralized air conditioning. The department provides high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus. The university has a large health center with many doctors available 24/7.
Faculty: Teachers in the department are highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Most of them hold Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees from reputed institutes. The teaching quality is excellent, combining theoretical concepts with practical labs. The pass percentage is around 40 percent.

Harsh truth of placements at GIET University.
Placements: In one word, no. They fake the placements by showing high package placements which are all off campus. College has no role in it. GIET University facilitates placements with a range of companies, but it's important to note that the typical salary package is generally not more than 6.5 LPA. Many of the higher salary packages reported are often from off-campus placements. Additionally, student attendance is a significant factor in placement eligibility. While the university has a placement cell, individual placement success is also considerably influenced by students' consistent attendance and proactive efforts in developing their skills.
Infrastructure: As for infrastructure, it won't meet your expectations. Only one hostel building is ok and the rest blocks are not good at all. It has 105 acres of land but most of the place is filled with trash and not usable. There are no AC hostel rooms. Only computer labs have AC and AC is not present anywhere. But talking about the place, Gunupur is not a good place. You will not find a place to enjoy yourself with friends, you will feel something is missing. There is no good restaurant or place to go with friends.
Faculty: The only thing that is good in this college is faculty members. But most of the faculty members of computer science branch don't know anything. Now coming to exams, after one exam just link your eye and another exam will have come. If you want to gain extra knowledge, library is not the place. Because in library, you cannot see and select the book. If you want you will have to ask the librarian for the book.

Genuine review by a student.
Placements: The package for each student is less, but you get placed in one company or another. The highest placement is 26 LPA, etc., which are off-campus placements, but they won’t tell you that. In on-campus placements, you can never get a package more than 8-10 LPA. If you want a good package, you have to obtain skills on your own and try off-campus placements. One more thing, Gunupur is a small town with no companies present. If you want to do an offline internship, you will face a problem.
Infrastructure: As for infrastructure, it doesn't meet your expectations. Only one hostel building is okay, and the rest of the blocks are not good at all. Faculty: The curriculum is good, but the problem is the 80% attendance policy. You can't give yourself time to learn something. Only one event happens per year. So you never get the opportunity to express your talent. However, teachers are good, and they mostly teach in English. There are a lot of exams, and they charge an exam fee of Rs.1,500 for each exam.
Other: The connectivity of the college is not good. The trains start at 2:30 am, 5:00 am, and only one at 3:30 pm. You will feel like you wasted your money. I would recommend simply no. There are negligible extracurricular activities, and the campus is not at all okay. You should prefer colleges in bigger cities as they open more opportunities for you. There are no cities nearby. Try to get into 1st or 2nd-tier colleges, as this is a 3rd-tier college, and there is no rank below that.

It is an above-average private college compared to the fee structure.
Placements: About 85% of students are already placed in the domain of AI and ML in different companies in the batch of 2021-2025. The highest package offered is about 15 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, HP, and Tech Mahindra are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated but lack AC for the summer, though every classroom has a projector. The food quality is average, not great compared to other institutions. There is a paid canteen. Medical facilities include a small dispensary for minor treatments. All sports are available except for hockey, but there is no indoor stadium. A swimming pool is present.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to the domain, and it makes us industry-ready up to 70%. Semester exams are quite difficult at the college. You can predict questions compared to NITs. The pass percentage is 40%, and you have to secure a minimum of 40% in a subject to pass.
