ECE department and hostel with food of GIET.

Placements: Above 90 percent of students were placed in our department. From there only 60 percent of students got the campus placement. The highest package was 25 LPA in the previous year and the average was 10 LPA. The recruiting MNCs are Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Highradious, etc. 100 percent of students are selected for the internship.

Infrastructure: The facilities available here are big campuses placed between the mountains and the big thing is that it has good maintenance of the campus. Here all the classes have lots of facilities like wi-fi, AC, projects, or smart boards. The quality of the hostel and mess is not good because they are charging enough money for that. All types of medical facilities are available.

Faculty: In the current time, newly joined teachers do not have knowledge and experience. They are not even friendly to students. The course curriculum for the 1st and 2nd years really needs jobs and exams. The exams of some semesters are tough, but nowadays they are easy.

The institute is good, but in order to get a good placement, we have work very hard.

Placements: Placements are good, but we need to work hard to get good placements. It means if students can work hard for their success, then they definitely can get a good placement here. If students want to enjoy, then they can expect a placement here. Hard work is required.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Buildings and hostels are a little old. But now they are upgrading everything, so there are no issues about infrastructure. The environment around here is cool and pleasant. Nature gives us a good feel.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. Exams are conducted very strictly to avoid malpractice. I can say it is one of the best colleges around here for electronic communication engineering. Semester exams are usually moderate in terms of temptation, so it depends on individual focus.

Other: The environment is good here.

It has bad faculty members. Placements are not even good.

Placements: The placement cell of this university has poor management. They try to push students into call center jobs and sell jobs to increase the placement percentage. The actual placement percentage is 20-30 percent only. The best part of this university is they provide good internships for students who score 70 percent.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The condition of classrooms and labs is average. Every classroom and lab has Wi-Fi, but most of them are not working. Hostel facilities are good, and some VIP hostels are recommended as they have air conditioning.

Faculty: The maximum number of faculty members is well-qualified and knowledgeable. Only 40 percent of faculty members are teaching their classes in a proper way, and the rest are not teaching regular classes. None of them is helpful for students. Some portions of the course are relevant, and most are useless. It does not make students industry-ready.

Other: I request that the college change the teachers' thinking towards students.

The best university in Odisha.

Placements: In my course, almost all students get placed or maybe more than 90 per cent. The highest package is INR 7 LPA, the average is INR 5 LPA, and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and Jio. Almost all students get internships at many companies. The top roles offered are those of senior engineers, junior engineers, supervisors, etc.

Infrastructure: 24 hours of Wi-Fi is available, but labs are very few, and some devices do not work properly. Classrooms are good with projectors. The library is equipped with all facilities, and there are different sections for girls and boys. AC does not work in libraries. Mess and canteen food are delicious and hygienic. The medical facility is also good. In sports and games, students get a chance to play in college.

Faculty: Our professors and our HOD are good. We have assistant professors. They are PhD holders. They are helpful. They help us with academic work. They behave well with students. They conduct revision classes before semester exams. All the courses are relevant, and they make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is 50 per cent.

Review of ECE department of GIET University.

Placements: Below 40 percent of students got placed from our department. The top role offered in our course is to get a good job in both software engineering and electrical engineering. So it's easy to crack any type of job. Our university provides 100 percent placement from our department.

Infrastructure: The smallest building in our university is our electronics department, so it doesn't provide lots of facilities, but the required facilities are available here. The hostel and the mess/canteen quality are good. All types of medical facilities are available here.

Faculty: Most teachers are from the Telugu state, so it's difficult to communicate with them. And the rest of the faculty are very helpful to students. All the faculty are qualified and knowledgeable. Semester examinations are very easy, and the pass percentage is above 40 percent.

Description of GIET University. The infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Fewer students choose this course. According to the department teachers, the highest package is Rs. 40,000 a month. The top role offered in our course is that you can enjoy the subjects and the lab activity. The university provides more workshops for us.

Infrastructure: The university is located in a good place, so it is very large in area. The infrastructure is very good, but they can slightly do better on facilities, like smart classes and labs. The food quality at the university is very bad. They are not giving the tasty food.

Faculty: Most of the faculty of our electronics engineering department have completed a Ph.D. They are helpful to all students. The course is best for getting a job inside the university placement. Semester examinations are very easy. The pass percentage is 30 percent in each subject.
