Good placements in the 2022 batch.

Placements: Almost all students got placement from last year, with the highest salary of 10 LPA, the lowest salary of 3.5 LPA, and an average of 5 LPA. UltraTech, ACC Limited, JWS, TCE, Jindal, and Nalco are the recruiting companies. This course offers T&P classes and company visits.

Infrastructure: The new boys' hostels are good because of the facilities, including attached washrooms and a hostel canteen. This college provides both AC and non-AC hostel rooms. Here, two paid canteens are available inside the campus, and the food quality is decent enough. A big playground is available for sports. We also have multiple indoor facilities for games.

Faculty: The semester examinations are not very difficult. Mostly, the questions are from the syllabus. The course curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready. It is updated according to the industry requirements. The passing marks are 20 on each cycle test and 40 on the semester.

Placements and crowd of civil course.

Placements: Major recruiters are TCS, Vedanta, Nalco, Balco, SUNCON, HIL, and many more are coming for placements with the average package of 5 to 10 LPA. Most companies are asking for 70 percent in their career. The TNP cell helps students with their placement and internships. Our university provides a college internship for every student.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every classroom and lab. Some of the classes have centralized AC. Various facilities available in the hostel are free Wi-Fi and attached washrooms. Various indoor games available in the hostel and college buildings. For outdoor games, more than 2 fields are available. Medical facilities for all hostel students are provided 24/7.

Faculty: All teacher are excellent in their subjects, and their teaching quality are matters on their experience. All faculty are helpful in each and every topic. They help us during exams and labs. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the student industry-ready. Exams are not very hard, but the duration of each semester is shorter, so it's difficult to complete all the subjects.

Summarize the civil engineering department at GIET University.

Placements: There are fewer students studying in our department, so everyone gets a placement (100% placement). The package is quite low because first they are providing some training, and after that the salary is increased according to your skills and experience. The college does not provide any type of internship.

Infrastructure: For civil engineering department, the facilities are fewer compared to other departments. Because the university has one building for each department, but for civil engineering department, they don't have any department. Everything is available, like labs, Wi-Fi, etc.

Faculty: Semester examinations are normal, but you have to understand the concepts that can be helpful for the other examination, like GATE. The pass percentage is 40%. Course curriculum is relevant. But you have to study another course that can be helpful for placement and training. Course makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course just to get government jobs related to civil engineering.

Summarising the things of GIET university.

Placements: In our branch, more than 50 percent of students were placed. Many students in our branch are applying for government jobs. The common internship companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top role of our course is preparing students for the industry with a good salary.

Infrastructure: The facilities are not as good compared to the fees, but they provide a lot of things like Wi-Fi, labs, and practical classes. The quality of the hostel is okay. In the hostel area, a big mess is present, which provides average food. Our branch provides all the sports facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are not helpful to us. They are busy with their own work. They are well-educated and experienced. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant. It also makes us industry-ready. Semester examinations are slightly difficult. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: As per my current knowledge, only 70 percent of students are getting placements. Some reputed companies like Accenture also hire from our department. This college is providing well-deserved effort for this course as it has all its equipment to provide training.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is looking interesting for its design. The classrooms are well-furnished. The most interesting thing about this college is that Wi-Fi is available everywhere in each department. There is a central library available 24 hours. The college also has grounds for playing football and cricket.

Faculty: Teachers are well-cooperative and supportive in each and every field. As per my knowledge, teachers are well-qualified with M.Tech degrees and some are Ph.D. graduates. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is considered to be 35 percent. Yes, this course is suitable for this college.

Other: This course is good to do here because it provides all the necessary equipment to learn the course. Every design is kept in the university to showcase our interest. One of the events is the Annual Tech Fest, which is held once a year in December. We can get scholarship support from the state government.

About the infrastructure and placement facilities of giet university.

Placements: 80% students got placements. Other students are trying for government jobs or higher studies. The height package of this department is 8 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra automobile, etc. 100 percentage students get internships.

Infrastructure: The university provides many facilities, such as 24/7 Wi-Fi, smart labs, and a library. In the hostel, the university offers a large mess and a paid canteen, and the food quality is good. The college also provides medical services, including a 24/7 ambulance. Many sports clubs are available at the university, which organize various sports and games.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, resulting in very good teaching quality. Students easily understand the topics. In mechanical engineering, the course is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. However, semester exams are quite difficult.

Our college values for money.

Placements: Placements for the CSE branch are good with an average salary package of 5 LPA but in the civil department, placements are below average. After covid, it became worse but students get enough time to prepare for other competitive exams.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good compared to other colleges, especially regarding the fee. Classrooms are good and has beautiful auditoriums for events and movies. CSE department has the best infrastructure with well maintained garden, gym, and other things like swimming pool, basketball court, indoor kabaddi stadium under construction, a small canteen, and shops inside the campus open till 10 PM. The girls' hostel is away from campus. They have to enter before 7 PM inside the hostel.

Faculty: Students should maintain 80% of attendance in this college. Teachers in our college are supportive and every teacher is a Ph.D. holder. They have published papers and different magazines in which students can take part. Semester exams can be passed easily but scoring good marks is difficult. The course curriculum is completely relevant. .

Other: Our college has student friendly environment to study. Our college provides degree with very less hard work, so students can focus on their hobbies and studies.

You will have a bright future at GIETU. Best for placements since 2017. Excellent infrastructure.

Placements: About 97% of students got placed in the year 2021. In our branch of civil engineering 72-80% of students are placed. The highest package isof around 65 Lacs per annum, average packages are 5 to 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 3 Lacs. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Extramarks, etc. are the recruiting companies. There are no core companies for civil engineering students. No internships are available till now, but the HOD civil provides some internship programs in Geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, and surveying.

Infrastructure: Department is four labs classroom including projectors, and no Wi-Fi is provided For three persons, one room is provided for three beds and including, three study tables attached bathroom for three members quality of the mess is very good and we get non-veg 3 times a week who do not eat non-veg they can opt for paneer near the hotel there is a dispensary also the sports club is beside of dispensary gym is also present is inside the college games like basketball football cricket volleyball carrom chess table tennis, etc.

Faculty: Pictures are very helpful qualified all of them are Ph.D. holders and most are from IIT NITs Teaching quality 5 out of 5. Department always focus on needs of the market the modify the course according to the market situation what the market needs There is a gap of 6 months for every semester exam is not my difficult it is very easy to pass exams there is a plenty of time to studies Parts percentage is around 33%.

Other: Civil engineering is branch in which you can out from different ways like entrepreneurship doing job government job also The best thing in civil engineering is going out and doing different lab activity Lack of equipments in the lab need to improve the lab conditions and facilities Every year there is a cultural fest in 2022 then in the eve of 25th year of GIT University there is a silver jubilee in college in which many sports competitions Asha University level competition are being held .
