Summarize the civil engineering department at GIET University.
Placements: There are fewer students studying in our department, so everyone gets a placement (100% placement). The package is quite low because first they are providing some training, and after that the salary is increased according to your skills and experience. The college does not provide any type of internship.
Infrastructure: For civil engineering department, the facilities are fewer compared to other departments. Because the university has one building for each department, but for civil engineering department, they don't have any department. Everything is available, like labs, Wi-Fi, etc.
Faculty: Semester examinations are normal, but you have to understand the concepts that can be helpful for the other examination, like GATE. The pass percentage is 40%. Course curriculum is relevant. But you have to study another course that can be helpful for placement and training. Course makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course just to get government jobs related to civil engineering.

Summarising the things of GIET university.
Placements: In our branch, more than 50 percent of students were placed. Many students in our branch are applying for government jobs. The common internship companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top role of our course is preparing students for the industry with a good salary.
Infrastructure: The facilities are not as good compared to the fees, but they provide a lot of things like Wi-Fi, labs, and practical classes. The quality of the hostel is okay. In the hostel area, a big mess is present, which provides average food. Our branch provides all the sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are not helpful to us. They are busy with their own work. They are well-educated and experienced. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant. It also makes us industry-ready. Semester examinations are slightly difficult. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: As per my current knowledge, only 70 percent of students are getting placements. Some reputed companies like Accenture also hire from our department. This college is providing well-deserved effort for this course as it has all its equipment to provide training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is looking interesting for its design. The classrooms are well-furnished. The most interesting thing about this college is that Wi-Fi is available everywhere in each department. There is a central library available 24 hours. The college also has grounds for playing football and cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are well-cooperative and supportive in each and every field. As per my knowledge, teachers are well-qualified with M.Tech degrees and some are Ph.D. graduates. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is considered to be 35 percent. Yes, this course is suitable for this college.
Other: This course is good to do here because it provides all the necessary equipment to learn the course. Every design is kept in the university to showcase our interest. One of the events is the Annual Tech Fest, which is held once a year in December. We can get scholarship support from the state government.

About the infrastructure and placement facilities of giet university.
Placements: 80% students got placements. Other students are trying for government jobs or higher studies. The height package of this department is 8 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra automobile, etc. 100 percentage students get internships.
Infrastructure: The university provides many facilities, such as 24/7 Wi-Fi, smart labs, and a library. In the hostel, the university offers a large mess and a paid canteen, and the food quality is good. The college also provides medical services, including a 24/7 ambulance. Many sports clubs are available at the university, which organize various sports and games.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, resulting in very good teaching quality. Students easily understand the topics. In mechanical engineering, the course is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. However, semester exams are quite difficult.

Our college values for money.
Placements: Placements for the CSE branch are good with an average salary package of 5 LPA but in the civil department, placements are below average. After covid, it became worse but students get enough time to prepare for other competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good compared to other colleges, especially regarding the fee. Classrooms are good and has beautiful auditoriums for events and movies. CSE department has the best infrastructure with well maintained garden, gym, and other things like swimming pool, basketball court, indoor kabaddi stadium under construction, a small canteen, and shops inside the campus open till 10 PM. The girls' hostel is away from campus. They have to enter before 7 PM inside the hostel.
Faculty: Students should maintain 80% of attendance in this college. Teachers in our college are supportive and every teacher is a Ph.D. holder. They have published papers and different magazines in which students can take part. Semester exams can be passed easily but scoring good marks is difficult. The course curriculum is completely relevant. .
Other: Our college has student friendly environment to study. Our college provides degree with very less hard work, so students can focus on their hobbies and studies.
