I love this university because of the placements.

Placements: Almost 70 percent of students got placed from our course. The highest package is 8 LPA at Mahindra. The average package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Bosch, and Tata Motors. Top roles are automotive engineer and quality engineer.

Infrastructure: Top facilities include mechanical labs with all types of equipment. The classrooms are big and comfortable to sit in. The library is here for every student. The food quality is good and hostel facilities are bad because of old rooms. All types of sports are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for mentoring on hackathons and projects. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is industry-related. The semester examinations are tough. The pass percentage is 35 percent.

The college is best for the environment and facilities.

Placements: Placements are good only for those students who have a CGPA more than 7.5. For our mechanical department, a limited number of companies visit. The highest package is more than 10 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. All students are getting their internship according to their CGPA, and the college arranges the internship.

Infrastructure: Library and classrooms are good, clean, and well maintained. There is a lot of Wi-Fi available in every building as well as in hostels. Wi-Fi speed is not very high, and data limitations are also there. Modern labs are available here with all types of machines.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful during our lab experiments and projects. Most of them are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is easy to understand. The course curriculum of every semester is less, and one project is there, internship, lab experiments, and viva. Our course does not make students industry-ready but practically improves students' knowledge.

I don't wanna say anything about this university. If you want to join, you are welcome.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is 92%, but this is only applicable to Computer Science students. For Mechanical students, 71% got placed. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters like TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, HighRadius, and Capgemini are for CSE students, while Jindal and JK Paper Mill are for Mechanical Engineering students.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite decent and strict. The infrastructure is quite well established for Mechanical Engineering students, and the department is very good. I don't know about other departments. Wi-Fi is available, but there are some restrictions on its use. You can't open unknown websites, and video games are blocked on the Wi-Fi for discipline and studies. Classrooms are above average. The mess was fully messed up and had garbage. As far as I know, in Odisha, except for NITs and IITs, university mess food is generally not very good.

Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable, some are joyful, and some are not very good. I am aware of this because in BSH (Basic Sciences and Humanities), some teachers are not well-educated. They try to provide education to us. The Mechanical course curriculum makes students industry-ready after the 3rd year (after the 5th semester). Semester exams are very difficult, and many students have 12 to 18 backlogs.

Other: I chose this course because I found it to be a future-proof course, as AI is advancing. We have a low rate of employment in the Computer Science or IT line. I think nothing is particularly good, but because of the ROI, many average students from all around Odisha come here to pursue a B.Tech degree. No special events or programs are held, except the Shrujan concert, which is held once every year.

Absolutely satisfied and earned it.

Placements: Above 60 percent is required to study at GIET University, Gunupur. 3 LPA is the lowest package, while 20 LPA plus is the highest package offered in our mechanical engineering course. Top requirement companies came for our course, like JK Paper, design companies, etc.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are provided by GIET University, Gunupur, for the mechanical engineering department. Every section has separate classrooms, and for every subject, separate labs are available. There are good classrooms as well as a practical room. Every infrastructure is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us with a fully enjoyable mindset. The course is relevant, and it is very useful for industrial purposes. The semester exams are very tough, and very hard level questions are coming. The pass percentage is 40%.

Mechanical engineering department placement.

Placements: GIET in our mechanical engineering department has not yet developed placement. 15 LPA is the highest package, 3 LPA is the lowest package, and the average is around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our department are Tech Mahindra, TCS, HP, etc. 70 percent of students got internships from our course. The top role is a mechanical Engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is good and the facilities are also good. Other facilities available like Wi-Fi and labs are there with all the equipment. The classrooms are good. The hostel is good and the mess food is acceptable. In hostel all bed types are available. Medical and sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: Faculty of this course is good and fully experienced and qualified from different colleges and government colleges. This course curriculum is not relevant. This course makes it difficult to be industry-ready. Semester examination is easy all can appear and pass with a 100 percent.

Mechanical engineering at GIET University.

Placements: In the previous year, there was the highest package of 15 LPA for a girl selected at the Mahindra and Mahindra company, and some other students were also selected at an average package of 8 LPA. In our year, around 70 students get internships from different companies. To my knowledge, all mechanical students from GIET are getting company internships.

Infrastructure: The university provides free access to the library for every student and also provides free internet access. Most of the classes are conducted in the labs only, and some theory classes are conducted in the classroom. In the labs, all the facilities are available, like Wi-Fi and AC. I am not staying in the college hostel, so I don't know about the hostel and mess.

Faculty: The difficulty of the semester exams is hard for the core subjects, where they ask about the practical knowledge, and the non-core subjects are easy. The pass percentage is 28 in theory and 15 in the practical. All the teachers are helpful and friendly, assisting students in their labs and projects. Teachers are well qualified, and their teaching quality is good.

Great infrastructure, average faculty and good placements.

Placements: 90% students are placed in my course, and the maximum package is 6 LPA, and the minimum is 2.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Mahendra, TCS, etc. 80% students get internships in many companies like Mahendra, Tata Jindal Steel. HR offered top roles in courses.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a 24/7 library facility. Classrooms are good. All the classrooms have a projector. Our college provides a very good Wi-Fi facility. In our department, we provide all the mechanical instruments. And having all the machines like the lathe, CNC, etc.

Faculty: Evening time or any situation, our teachers help all the students. The semester exam is so difficult, and the pass percentage is 70%. All students are taking advantage.

Other: Our college provides extracurricular activities like sports, a swimming pool, a singing club, etc.

GIET facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: GIET is good college in Odisha. It provides decent placement in our department. The highest is 15 LPA, average around 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top companies are Tata, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Birla. Students have a chance to get internship from our course in final years. It plays top role.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our course is well and good decorated. Its facilities are also good. Infrastructure of our course is well organised. Free Wi-Fi is available for internet connection, library is open all time. Classrooms are decent. Hostel is decent and food quality is good. Medical and sports facilities are also decent.

Faculty: Faculty of this college is helpful for students and it is educated and knowledgeable. They are also experienced. This course is not currently curriculum relevant, but it makes students industry ready. Semester examination is moderate level and students can easily appear in it. It helps students secure good score.
