It is a very good college and provides good placements.

Placements: Placement scenario of our college is average. Around 50 to 80 students get placed in the campus drive every year. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Byju's, Luit minerals, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has very good laboratory facilities. Classrooms are not up to the mark but this college has very good library facilities. The quality of food served in the canteen is very poor. Medical facilities are not good. Management should improve the quality of the college in the future.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Some teachers are not well educated and not much helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult in our college. The pass percentage is very good.

Other: I chose ECE because it connects the world. This branch has various scopes in different fields.

It is a very good college to pursue a course at an affordable budget.

Placements: In our course, the placement rate average, i.e., 30% to 40%. Main recruiters for our course are TCS, Gammon, Luit Minerals, Infosys, ACC Limited, ASEB, Tech Mahindra, etc. The average salary package offered was around 3-4 LPA. Mostly, companies from Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, etc., visit here for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has a well-equipped library, good campus, well-equipped labs, good faculty members, a huge canteen, playground, gymnasium, recreation areas, etc. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there are two huge well-equipped auditoriums, which have an accommodation capacity of 300-400 people. Hostels are also well-equipped and have all the necessary amenities. The quality of the food served is also good, whether be in the hostel or canteen.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very qualified and are very knowledgeable. They are very friendly with the students and interact with them during their lectures and involve them in their lectures. The course curriculum has changed recently to equip the students with the latest syllabus. Our college also conducts industrial visit, field trips, etc., for students to provide them with some respite from the studies. At the end of higher semesters, students are sent to training and internship from college to provide them with practical knowledge about their subject.

Other: This course is in high demand in the contemporary world. If you chose this course, you have a vast field of work, and there will be many jobs every year for this course. Since this course is more of practical application, the curriculum should be more practical based rather than theoretical. The overall fee of this course is around 5 lacs. Our college is situated at around 10 kilometres from the main town of Guwahati. However, the locality is very peaceful and beautiful. The connectivity from the campus is very good as the college is located by the side of the national highway.

Satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placements are there in this college. Last year 70% of students in my branch got placements. The average percentage packages are of INR 25,000 - INR 30,000. Good training and internship opportunities are there. Faculty members are really good. Workshops facilities are also provided by the college.

Infrastructure: Classroom conditions are good. Good lab, library facilities are there also. The canteen food is not so bad. Boys and girls hostel is inside the college campus. Other facilities like the gym, playground are provided by the college. The atmosphere inside the college campus is helpful for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teaching quality is pretty good at this college. Labs are clean and the atmosphere for learning is very good at this college. Other then B.Tech the college also provides BCA M.Tech, BBA MBA, MCA. I don't know much about the other courses.

The best private college in Assam in terms of faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but the salary packages offered are very low. Branches like mechanical and ECE have good placement records overall. Reputed companies like Cummins, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Infotech have recruited students from our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. We have well-maintained labs with air-conditioners, Wi-Fi facilities, a sickbay, and a conference hall. There are two lifts in the main building and one in the administrative building. The canteen of our college is huge and has a seating capacity of around 200 students at a time. There is also a pharmacy on the campus.

Faculty: The best thing about GIMT is that we've got great faculty members. The teachers are very much concerned about our education, and they always motivate us. They are very friendly and will always help us with our doubts. There are many experienced faculty members in our college.

Other: Euphuism is the annual college fest which is held for 3 days. A sports week is organised before that with a marathon being the opening ceremony.

It is a good college among private institutions.

Placements: Placements in the college were average for ETE branch. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Companies like Zaloni, ASTC, and Cognizant, visited our campus for placements. Job roles varied from software tester to developer. Placement cell tries its level best to invite companies for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Our college provides the Wi-Fi facility. Almost all classrooms are equipped with projectors. Labs are well-equipped. Quality of food served in the canteen is average. However, there are lots of food options available outside the college. Library also has a good collection of books.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are decent and qualified. They are very cooperative. We were taken to various industrial visits which helped to connect classroom learning with industry. The curriculum is robust, and students are usually given loads of assignments. But I feel syllabus needs to be updated since technologies are changing very rapidly in the telecommunications sector.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and is much more supportive. It gives great opportunities to the students after their completion of courses. Many renowned companies come to our college for placements like Cummins India, Amazon, Airtel, Jio and many more.

Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure. It is great to explain about college. It has a very good infrastructure like ery well-furnished classrooms, digital laboratory, computer laboratory, workshops, fully-equipped facilities. One cannot be disappointed by the infrastructure it has. It has been a great pleasure for me to get admitted to this college.

Faculty: The best faculty members are there in the college. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. They help us in every aspect of academic problems we all face. The course curriculum is very much organised. The college is under ASTU state university which has a very well-maintained syllabus under norms of AICTE.

Good faculty members in our college also have good placement and amazing infrastructure.

Placements: Amazing placement opportunity. Every year lots of companies come to our college and recuite many students. Some company like as. Vodafone, Mahindra, Jio, Tata etc. And also many outside people also come our college for placement. Yes our college have also a placement cell. Thank you.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure of our college GIMT. Also Wi-Fi facilities are available in our college. Too many labs available. Also M.Tech labs are available in our college. High quality class are available. SMART class room available in our college. Library is also available. They have lots of books are available. Medical facilities are available. And one ambulance van is also available in our college. And also sports and games facilities are available And one gym is also available in our college. Thank you.

Faculty: I think as a semi government college Gimt is have best faculty. Because our faculty members are very good personality. They tech us as their son or daughter. They have very good knowledge. Their behaviour is very good and polite. We also get industrial tour. At last our course curriculum very useful. Thank you.

Other: Every year our college has organized lots of events. Our campus crowed is amazing. Our college also gave us scholarship. In 1st year we have a ECA class that means extracurricular activities. This class help us to know our extra knowledge. Thank you.

Placements: The placements offered are average (not too good and not that bad) for this particular branch. I hope it will get better in the coming days. You will find many technical as well as BPO companies in the placement drive. I would like to say the overall placement is below average. But since it is a private college, you would not get any better than this. So, I would conclude that as per private sector college, the placement is decent but not too good.

Infrastructure: The college has the sound Infrastructure. And it is continuously in further beautiful construction. You would see a beautiful pond in front of the college building. New buildings are being constructed for the hostel for boys. The girl's hostel is inside the college campus too. The spacious parking lot is available near the administrative building.

Faculty: The faculty members are average. I would say the teachers are good. However, some of them lack teaching skills as all other college has good and bad teachers. But, some good faculty members are always ready to help the students in their project works.
