My personal review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Last year, batch 2020, my seniors got placed in different companies with good placement packages. Around 70% of the total students applied, and 60% of them got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, among others. Around 70% of the total students got internships in various companies. We got various roles in our course, such as joining the student council and becoming the president of the committee that looked after all the students' grievances.

Infrastructure: All facilities provided in the course/department were very good and helpful. We got hi-fi technology in the classrooms with digitalized teaching. The environment was very clean and hygienic, including the canteen and washrooms. Even the hostel facilities were very good and hygienic. We got good food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities were quick and efficient, and regular sports meets were conducted for various sports. Wi-Fi was available throughout the college.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and taught very well. Faculty members were also very kind-hearted. The course curriculum was relevant, as it made students industry-ready and provided very good knowledge of how to work in the real world. The semester exams were hard if you did not focus, but easy if you understood the concepts.

Overall, the best College for the MBA Course.

Placements: The placement in this college was better in my current year compared to last year. Almost 87% of the students who sat for the placements were placed, and the roles offered to the students were HR Manager, Investment Banker, etc. The highest package offered here was over 29 LPA, and the lowest package offered here was around 11 LPA.

Infrastructure: In terms of facilities, my college is the best. Labs are fully equipped, and someone is there to help you learn how to use the machines. The whole institution area is Wi-Fi equipped, and the hostels have Wi-Fi in the common area. Now they are trying to install Wi-Fi routers on every floor. Mess food is not so good, but canteen food is good. The hostel rooms have been maintained and are in great condition for your stay.

Faculty: The educators are quite skilled and well-informed, yet occasionally, you may encounter ineffective teachers despite their extensive knowledge. I personally think that the learning aspect is a bit outdated and requires modernization. The semester exams are indeed very challenging, but achieving a passing grade is relatively easy. The majority of students succeed in their exams.

Review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Placement of the college is really good, we have many renowned companies that come to our college for placement, like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, Bosh Company, and many more. Our college has a good placement record, and we have approximately 75% placement.

Infrastructure: Hostels are one of a kind, and the food menu is very frequently changed based on the reviews given by the students. For a hostel in the beginning, you need to pay around Rs. 50,000 for pre-booking, of which you would be paid back. 10,000 at the end. Every month, you would be getting a bill that includes mess charges, hostel rent, power, maintenance, etc, which would vary from Rs. 7000- Rs. 10,000/month.

Faculty: Faculty members of my college are highly experienced and skilled, most of whom have done so in their respective fields. They are really helpful and concerned about students. They interact with students so that they can clear all their doubts and understand the concepts in a better way. The course curriculum of the college is perfect, we have proper regular classes with proper practical and workshops as well. We have semester exams and sessional exams as well. We have a credit system based on the choice of students. We also have a foreign language in our regular course. The course curriculum was good earlier, but it was theoretical, not practical. Practical applications have not been taught. The interest of faculty members depends on students, with the influx of students, ten times.

The infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: All students from our course were placed, with the highest package being around 16 LPA and the average package at 6 LPA. Top companies such as ITC PSPD, Deloitte, PwC, Oxane Partners, Federal Bank, Colgate, and Information Edge participated in the recruitment. Approximately 90 to 95% of the students secured internships through our course. The top roles offered included business analyst, tax auditor, marketing manager, senior executive, and HR associate.

Infrastructure: The facilities offer a range of amenities, including air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, canteens, cafes, and outdoor and indoor stadiums. All types of sports are available, and there is a sports association to support students. Annual fests are conducted to encourage student participation in extracurricular activities. Social activities are also organized. The medical block and hostels are fully maintained, offering both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms, all of which are completely secure and located on campus.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very qualified, holding doctorates and years of experience in both teaching and industry. They ensure the students are industry-ready by providing a relevant curriculum. Semester exams focus more on the individual. The exam structure is 60% internals, which aims to assess students' skills in representing themselves through presentations, seminars, extracurricular activities, projects, vivas, etc., while 40% is based on written exams.

Other: I joined this course to pursue an MBA. That was the only thing I had in mind, but later, after joining, I became a part of the cultural club, which led me to participate in events, fests, and other activities. Students who have a sports background will get a good scholarship, as will those who have better metrics.

My experience here is very nice and teachers are supportive.

Placements: From the start of their last semester, they are eligible to sit in campus placement many MNC's like Infosys, TCS, IBM, etc. And many more companies visit our campus. The placement percentage rate was 90% and the college tried their best to increase the placement percentage. The highest package was 34 LPA and the average package was around 8–10 LPA.

Infrastructure: First-year students need to share their rooms with a partner. In third year, single rooms are provided. The quality of meal in mess is decent and medical facilities are also available inside the campus. One canteen is also there in hostel. CCTV camera and security are very strong here. 24/7 water, electricity, Wi-Fi facilities, etc. facilities are provided. The registration process is done at admission time.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very student-friendly; you can focus both on academics and other extracurriculars. The first 2 terms are very stressful and tiring but you will get used to them. You will learn about prioritizing and time management. The faculty here are well experienced and qualified and the teachers hold Ph.D. degrees from reputed universities. Their teaching skills are so good and they are very supportive, even though they are available anytime to solve the students problems and queries. Class Size: 55 Course Fee: INR 497000 per year.

The inside life of Gitam School of business.

Placements: 78–80% of students are placed. The highest package is 14.5 LPA and the top companies are Wipro, KPMG and ITC. The top roles offered are HR manager, marketing manager, finance head bank manager, data analyst and many others, and around 68 percent of students got internships in Max, Zomato, etc.

Infrastructure: Parking facilities, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor stadium, gym, Wi-Fi, AC, libraries, canteens, mess, cafes, grounds, hospital, etc. are there. The quality of food is very good; there are a lot of hostel facilities, a large number of trees, and sign boards for less confusion. Parking areas are also there.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and coordinated, highly qualified and have years of experience. The course curriculum is very relevant and students are well trained for the industry. The exams cover basic-level general topics related to subject and the pass percentage is 80 percent .

Other: The best thing about this course is the curriculum, transport, wonderful helpful faculty and placements, large number of fests and events, and connectivity with a high crowd count and extracurricular activities.
