Yes, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates shortlisted are offered direct admission to the second year of the BTech degree. Candidates will be admitted in the BTech (LE) through online counseling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES).

The university has not released the exclusive placement statistics of CSE branch for the year 2023. The university recorded 63% hiring rate for BTech students during GJU Hisar placement 2022.
