One of the oldest universities: GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya deemed to be university.
Placements: There were no on-campus placements in B.Sc. The highest salary package offered in M.Sc. was up to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Akums, Cipla, and other pharma companies in SIDCUL. Around 10%-15% of students secured internships, but these were not provided by university. Students have to find it on their own. Role offered was of an assistant.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite old, as it is one of the oldest universities in India. Wi-Fi facility is available, but speed is very slow and the coverage is not that good. Classrooms are average. Library is good. No hostel facility is available for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very qualified and knowledgeable. Undoubtedly, one of our professors is on the list of the world's 2% scientists named Dr. Harish Chandra. Secondly, the biochemistry professor is good and intelligent. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to moderate level and pass percentage is 33%.
