The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.
CUET UG counselling refers to the allocation of seats based on the scores obtained in CUET UG and cut off criteria. It involves the steps such as registration, uploading of documents, entering course preferences and colleges (if applicable). Once the CUET results are declared, universities under CUET UG begins the CUET UG counselling registration online. Candidates must ensure to stay updated with the CUET counselling dates and check the CUET cut off lists.

AMU is offering admission to various UG courses based on CUET exam scores. Candidates seeking admission at Aligarh Muslim University can take part in the AMU CUET Counselling Process only if they have filled out the the university's CUET Application Form on the official website. The AMU Application Window for CUET UG 2025 admissions ended on 09 July 2025.
Check out the steps for the AMU CUET admission process:
Step 1: Visit the official website: amucontrollerexams.com or direct login link oaps.amuonline.ac.in.
Step 2: Under the "Admissions" & 'General Admission' tabs, click on "CUET (UG) - Registration Link".
Step 3: Register by providing the following details:
- First, Middle, & Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Aadhar Number
- Mobile Number
- E-mail Address
- Password
Step 4: Fill every tab on the header menu:
- Profile
- Address
- Education Qualification
- Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression
- Category
- Form Type, Course Level, Course Name
Step 5: Review and Confirm the details.
Step 6: Enter the required details:
- Gender
- Qualifying Exam
- CUET Application Number
Step 7: Pay the Counselling Registration Fee (Late Fee INR 300).
Step 8: Once the AMU CUET UG Firm List is released, candidates selected/short-listed for admission are required to go through the Counselling Procedure and register for Counselling and subsequent completion of admission (including payment of Admission Charges) on the portal counselling.amuonline.ac.in. Once the admission is completed, the candidates have to provide some documents for physical verification.
Step 9: Candidates are now required to pay the admission fee. They can find the fee details for each course on the official website of AMU.
Step 10: If a newly admitted student chooses to get his/her admission cancelled, the University will follow the following five-tier system for the refund of fees deposited by the student:

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;
- Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
- Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
- Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
- Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
- Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee
CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:
- Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
- Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
- Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.
CUET UG counselling registration last date is not fixed and varies from university to university. Each participating university sets its own counselling registration deadlines. Therefore, candidates must stay updated with the admission and cut off dates of the universities they wish to apply to and ensure they complete the registration process within the specified time frame. Candidates are suggested to stay updated with CUET 2025 admission dates for individual universities to avoid missing deadlines.
AMU Admission Through CUET 2025: Documents Required
Candidates can find the list of documents required at the time of counselling for physical verification below:
- Marks sheet/grade sheet of qualifying examination (with Four Self-attested photocopies)
- Aadhar Card/Passport/PAN Card/Bank Passbook with photo (with Two Self-attested photocopies)
- Transfer/Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU). If the Certificate(s) is/are not available, give an undertaking on the prescribed format to submit the same by the notified date.
- High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
- Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).
- Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the Application Form.
- Leave Sanction/Relieving Order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
- Two Self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth ₹22.00 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
- Two Undetakings on plain paper – one on behalf of the candidate and the other on behalf of the candidate’s parents/guardian regarding not to indulge in ragging (Proforma given in Appendix)
- Latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for B.Sc. Nursing course)

No, Bapuji Academy of Management & Research (BAMR) is not under CUET. The academy accepts the scores of certain other entrance exams such as, MAT/PGCET/KMAT. Candidates who have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for admission.

No, Terna Global Business School is not under CUET. Rather the college accepts scores of various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. Candidates are not required to appear for the CUET exam rather they must appear for any of these exams.

No, Chandola Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is not under CUET. Instead the college accepts the scores of the UPMT exam for admission to the BHMS course. This is the Uttaranchal Pre-Medical Test and is conducted by the State Government of Uttarakhand at different centres.
