Aligarh Muslim University will release the AMU CUET 2026 admission schedule on its official website after the release of CUET UG result 2026. The university will conduct counselling for admission to UG programmes such as B.Sc. (Hons), B.A. (Hons), and B.Voc (Hons) through CUET. Besides educational qualification and CUET score as their eligibility criteria, Aligarh Muslim University also has different age limits for different courses for UG admissions.

Aligarh Muslim University CUET UG 2026 Admission Process

AMU offers admission to various UG courses based on CUET exam scores. Candidates seeking admission at Aligarh Muslim University can take part in its CUET counselling process only if they fill the university's CUET Application Form on official website. The AMU Application Window for CUET UG 2026 admissions will open in the last week of June 2026.

• Visit the official website: amucontrollerexams.com or direct login link oaps.amuonline.ac.in.
• Under the Admissions & General Admission tabs, click on CUET (UG) - Registration Link.
• Register by adding following details.
  • First, Middle, & Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Aadhar Number
  • Mobile Number
  • E-mail Address
  • Password
• Fill every tab on the header menu:
  • Profile
  • Address
  • Education Qualification
  • Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression
  • Category
  • Form Type, Course Level, Course Name
• Review and Confirm the details.
• Enter the required details:
  • Gender
  • Qualifying Exam
  • CUET Application Number
• Pay the Counselling Registration Fee (Late Fee INR 300).
• Once the AMU CUET UG Firm List is released, candidates selected/short-listed for admission are required to go through the Counselling Procedure and register for Counselling and subsequent completion of admission (including payment of Admission Charges) on the portal counselling.amuonline.ac.in. Once the admission is completed, the candidates have to provide some documents for physical verification.
• Candidates are now required to pay the admission fee. They can find the fee details for each course on the official website of AMU.
• If a newly admitted student chooses to get his/her admission cancelled, the University will follow the following five-tier system for the refund of fees deposited by the student:

Note: In the first case (*), the University will deduct an amount not more than 5% of the fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of ₹5,000 as processing charges from the refundable amount.

AMU Admission Through CUET 2026: Documents Required

Candidates can find the list of documents required at the time of counselling for physical verification below:

• Marks sheet/grade sheet of qualifying examination (with Four Self-attested photocopies)
• Aadhar Card/Passport/PAN Card/Bank Passbook with photo (with Two Self-attested photocopies)
• Transfer/Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU). If the Certificate(s) is/are not available, give an undertaking on the prescribed format to submit the same by the notified date.
• High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
• Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).
• Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the Application Form.
• Leave Sanction/Relieving Order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
• Two Self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth ₹22.00 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
• Two Undetakings on plain paper – one on behalf of the candidate and the other on behalf of the candidate’s parents/guardian regarding not to indulge in ragging (Proforma given in Appendix)
• Latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for B.Sc. Nursing course)
