GNDU offers BSc in multiple specialisations. Across all the specialisations, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 ranges between 40% to 45%. This aggregate is based on the scores of the subjects relevant to the particular specialisation. The eligibility criteria varies across the specialisations. For most BSc courses, the minimum marks required in Class 12 is 40%. However, the minimum marks required in Class 12 for BSc in Fashion Designing is 45%.

Guru Nanak Dev University offers BSc courses in multiple specialisations. To be eligible for pursuing these courses, an applicant must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 40% aggregate in relevant subjects. For some specialiations, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45%. The eligibility criteria for GNDU BSc (Hons) courses are different. Candidates pursuing a BSc (Pass) may be offered a BSc (Hons) in any one of the three elective subjects taken up by them, provided they have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned in the semester I and semester II examinations of the BSc (Pass) course.

GNDU started accepting online applications for BSc admissions for the academic year 2025-26 through its official website on May 8, 2025. The application portal is expected to remain open till July. In 2024, the last date to apply for BSc admissions was July 11, 2024. The application deadline and counselling dates for the current academic year are yet to be notified.
