GNDU offer a five-year integrated course (FYIP) in Computer Science under which BCA degree is awarded to candidates completing three-years of the course. The sanctioned seats for this course is 60. Moreover, the seat breakup for reserved categories is mentioned in the table below:

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) accepts BSc applications in online mode. Before applying for the admission, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements set by the university. For getting an admission to the BSc courses at GNDU, eligible candidates can visit the official website of the university follow the steps given below:

1. Register on the official website to create a student ID & password
2. Use the generated credentials to log in and fill out the application form
3. Select the desired BSc course, upload the required documents and pay the application fee in online mode
4.  Appear for the university entrance exam (if applicable) on the date notified by the university
5. Based on the performance in the entrance exam, a merit list is prepared. Shortlisted candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fee applicable to them before the due date.

GNDU has not started the admission for BSc yet. The admission notification will be released on the university's official website. Students who wish to get admission must meet the admission criteria. GNDU BSc admission registration starts tentatively in May.

Guru Nanak Dev University offers BSc courses in multiple specialisations. To be eligible for pursuing these courses, an applicant must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 40% aggregate in relevant subjects. For some specialiations, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45%. The eligibility criteria for GNDU BSc (Hons) courses are different. Candidates pursuing a BSc (Pass) may be offered a BSc (Hons) in any one of the three elective subjects taken up by them, provided they have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned in the semester I and semester II examinations of the BSc (Pass) course.

The total number of BSc seats at GNDU are 14,100. This number also includes the BSc seats available at the colleges affiliated with GNDU. At the Guru Nanak Dev University campus, the total student intake for BSc is of 935 students. These seats are further divided among the various BSc specialisations provided at the university. GNDU offers BSc in multiple specialisations. Across all the specialisations, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 ranges between 40% to 45%. This aggregate is based on the scores of the subjects relevant to the particular specialisation. The eligibility criteria varies across the specialisations. For most BSc courses, the minimum marks required in Class 12 is 40%. However, the minimum marks required in Class 12 for BSc in Fashion Designing is 45%.
