My college offers an excellent learning environment and high experienced faculty members.

Placements: A good number of companies offer internships for students. Salesforce is one such company that provides internships with a stipend of Rs. 70,000 per month. Projects are done by students based on several web development applications. Students are free to explore their skills and do projects in their specialised fields. These projects add great value to their resumes.

Infrastructure: I am still in my first year, but for my first year, it seems better than I expected. Many people do not like it, but I do not see any bad intentions in this college. Activities and programs they do are good. The library, cafeteria, and classrooms are good. It is good to hang around when we do not have any class or when we get a break. Especially the campus has two basketball courts, so it is nice to hang around.

Faculty: There are well-experienced faculty members who provide resources to students. They are quite approachable. They are not too top-notch and also not unskilled. It all depends on students how they utilise them, and their resources. Exams are often conducted to test our abilities, and the difficulty level is medium. Around 10% of students fail to clear semester exams.

My college offers an excellent learning environment and highly experienced faculty members.

Placements: From the 7th semester, students can apply for placements. Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, and many local companies visit the college for placements. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 2 LPA in 2024. This course is also now trending, and according to job preference, they also prefer this course.

Infrastructure: I am still in the first year, but for my first year, it seems better than I expected. A lot of people don't like it but I do not see any bad intentions in this college. Activities and programs organised are good. The library, cafeteria, and classrooms are good. It is good to hang out around when we do not have any class or when we get a break. Especially on the campus, we have two basketball courts so it is nice to hang around.

Faculty: Good and qualified faculty members are teaching in every department of the college. Teachers are masters from IT and SVNIT also guide students a lot. Ignition Park of Knowledge in student clubs organises many social events. Many technical events are held in our college like a treasure hunt.

The University needs a progressive change.

Placements: There were no placement programmes conducted by the Department both for the seniors and our batch. Although we were exposed to some kind of orientation programme conducted by AIESEC, Shillong in collaboration with the Career and Counselling Cell of the University. The Department in particular do not conduct placement programmes as such.

Infrastructure: The University provides free Wi-Fi within the campus. Each Classroom has a whiteboard, a Computer and a Projector to help make teaching and learning more interesting and efficient. The University also has a Health Centre which provides free health services to the students and staffs. With regards to Games and Sports, the University has several Basketball courts, an Indoor Stadium and a Football Stadium. The NEHUSU (Student Union) also conducts a Varisty Fest once a year in which students can take part in various Sports, Academics and Socio-Cultural activities.

Faculty: Most of the teachers were indeed helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher; some teachers deliver quality lectures while some display unsatisfactory teaching qualities. The methods of teaching includes class lectures, screening of important films and documentaries, PowerPoint presentations and giving assignments and presentation to the students. The student-faculty ratio is approximately 9:1. The Department also conducts several workshops and orientation programmes which may serve as an exposure to the understanding of art and literature.

Other: The University is relatively isolated and blessed with a huge campus engulfed in nature. The tree-clad campus provides a kind of serenity and eco-friendly environment to the students. The University also conducts several events and fests which keeps the campus lively and enjoyable.
