1. SC/ ST Scholarship Government of India: Candidates, who belong to Tamil Nadu and have completed Class 12, are eligible for this scholarship. Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The minimum eligibility criteria for the same is to either get a Diploma with minimum 50% aggregate in the branch of Engineering/ Technology from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or graduate with minimum 50% aggregate in Science and Mathematics as one of the main subject. The candidate should fall in the age group from 19 to 22 years.

No, Hindustan University offers admission to all of its courses based on a valid score in the respective entrance exams. For the majority of UG courses from the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management and Law, the university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., HITSCAT. For BTech course, students can apply via HISEEE, which is also an in-house entrance exam of Hindustan University.
