In order to get admission to BTech at Hindustan University, the minimum eligibility criteria is to pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in PCM as subjects. Those who belong to the reserved category are required to get 45% aggregate. The university also offers admission to BTech (Lateral Entry). Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, also known as HITS, was established in 1985 and is located in Kelambakkan, Chennai.
