Candidates appearing for ICFAI Law Admission Test (ILSAT) 2026 should prepare for the entrance exam in order to score well. The entrance exam will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Know ILSAT 2026 exam pattern

Candidates should first begin with knowing the key details of the examination including, exam pattern and syllabus as under:

Subject	Number of Questions
Exam mode	Computer-based test mode
Exam timings	10 am to 12 pm
Subjects	There will be five sections as under: English Logical Reasoning Legal Reasoning GK / Current Affairs Analytical Reasoning
Section-wise questions weightage	25 questions for each section
Section-wise marks weightage	25 marks for each section
Marking scheme	Each question carries one mark and, there will be no negative marking in case of wrong attempts.

Syllabus for ILSAT Sections

Candidates must cover the following topics from each subject:

Logical and Analytical Reasoning	patterns odd one out series relations analogy syllogism blood relations

Focus on sections that has more weightage. Practice these sections well to score high in them and increase your overall score.
Solve previous years' questions because questions can be repeated in the current year's test
Create a daily study plan
Attend online tutorials and webinars by experts to understand how to score well in the exam.
Do not try to learn multiple topics in the last days of the exam. Revise the previously learned concepts
