IISc offers a four-year BSc (Research) programme divided into eight semesters. IISc Bangalore BSc is an interdisciplinary programme that covers the disciplines of Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities and a one-year research project. The final two semesters are dedicated exclusively to a research project. A total of six major disciplines are offered by Bachelor of Science (Research): Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, and Physics. IISER does not conduct the counselling or admission process for IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras through the IAT scores. These institutes conduct their own counselling or admission process. IISER counselling process is conducted only for seven IISER institutes located across India.

IISET Tirupati placement 2025 details are not out yet. It will be updated once it is released. However, according to the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research placement 2023 details, the college has offered a maximum package of INR 75 LPA. Apart from the IAT (Integrated Aptitude Test), the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) is also admitting students through the following channels:
1. KVPY Channel (discontinued since 2022) - now not an option for admission.
