Indian Institute of Science College review.
Placements: Campus placement conditions had improved at IISc after the inception of the campus placement cell. The average package was around 25 LPA. Since most of the students opted for higher studies from IISc, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personally, I am also going for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college had the best infrastructure compared to the other colleges in the city. Wi-Fi was available all around the campus. Our classrooms were very clean. The library had good books. We had clean washrooms. The hostel did not have good things. The food was the worst. Sports were good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified, like Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality was good. The course made students industry-ready. Semester exams were more difficult than those at other colleges, but they helped build students. The passing CGPA was above 9.

IISc at a glance: an institute with a legacy of excellence.
Placements: There is a placement cell but I personally do not have experience with it. There are a lot of companies that come in like Airbus. Students are allowed to take three months internships with no questions and longer ones with permission. Not sure what the stipend is since most Maths people don't opt for this. Sadly I haven't taken any internships so I cannot comment on it.
Infrastructure: Most important parts of campus have Wi-Fi. The library is one of the biggest in India. IISc has some of the most advanced research facilities. Classrooms are basic but that's what's needed. Rooms are quite basic, with shelves, cupboards, and a study table. Rooms are quite good given the price. IISc has the best messes of any institute in the country. There are five messes. They offer a variety of cuisines. The menu is very varied and most food items are amazing.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful. Most of them are from top research institutes across the world. Most courses are very well taught. The curriculum prepares you very well for a future in academia. Exams might be difficult but are usually easy to follow through. Haven't heard of anyone failing a course ever.
Other: There's Pravega, the UG fest, and Rhapsody, the pan-IISc fest. Months are not very strict but this year they are in Early Feb and March respectively. The library is one of the most extensive in the country. Classes depend on the major you choose. The maths department doesn't have a lot of teach, but it doesn't need much for example. There are active sports groups playing most sports you can think of. Cricket, football, hockey, badminton, tennis, table tennis, carrom, swimming, etc. There's also a music and a drama club which have yearly showcases.

Life at IISc - Pros and Cons.
Placements: Most of the students after completing four years continue to stay here to get a Master's degree after one more year and pursue Ph.D. from world-renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements, and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30,000 on average. Some students, mostly Physics majors, can give government exams like I.C.R.B., GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and the infrastructure in the college is well-equipped. Free Wi-Fi is available for both college and hostel use. The hostel food is very good, and the canteen is also good. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are taken seriously, with a proper playing ground in the college.
Faculty: Per week, 3 hours for a course. Each one is good in their subject or area, having vast experience. Their average age is 47-49. They provide consultancy to several government, defense agencies, and commercial companies. Most of them are renowned scientists and known in other parts of the world.
Other: Calm and serious environment, not much crowded. M/F very high, all amenities available. Two big grounds for football and cricket. Gym, table tennis, lawn tennis, swimming pool, badminton court, etc., are numerous. All races can be found, diversity on campus.

IISC Bangalore diaries: The best example of the richness of knowledge.
Placements: Placement rate of IISC Bangalore is more than 60%. The highest package for my course is 60 LPA and the median is 22.50 LPA and the lowest is 12.30 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Flipkart, Google, Samsung, Bajaj, PWC, Mahindra, and Siemens. For mathematics program statistics information is not detailed but overall the highest internship value is Rs. 72,000 per month to 1.5 Lacs per month.
Infrastructure: We all have separate and well-furnished rooms and individual Wi-Fi in every room. Rooms have the best view. Library over here are so decent for studying. College provides its own Wi-Fi. Canteen and mess also serves you good quality of food and snacks.
Faculty: As per my view, I can see that IISC Bangalore provides a wide range of knowledge and the teachers are very well-qualified. The exams over here are very challenging and the study pattern is so efficient. This system has an autonomous pattern which makes it different from others.
Other: I chose to be here because of the campus and the reputation of college. Fests and techno events over here makes you learn a lot. The wide range of different knowledgeable people you meet here is helping you making the better version of yourself.

IISER does not conduct the counselling or admission process for IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras through the IAT scores. These institutes conduct their own counselling or admission process. IISER counselling process is conducted only for seven IISER institutes located across India.
