Placements: The number of students getting placed in B.Sc. Nautical Science is 100%. The highest package that is received is around 850 dollars per month, which is considerably high as compared to other companies, and it may go as low as 500 dollars. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There are various types of labs around the campus, which help you to gain hands-on experience that you are required to have on board the ship. Since the course is completely residential, it has unlimited Wi-Fi all across the campus.

Absolutely satisfied with the aura of Tolani Maritime Institute.
Placements: Mainly, 100 percent of students got placed in Tolani Maritime Institute for the Bachelor's in Nautical Science course. The packages were awesome with jaw-dropping facilities. These were all from the top-notch marine industries, best companies. Totally worthy.
Infrastructure: The Tolani Maritime Institute has a well-equipped library with all the books from the famous writers. The college has full Wi-Fi facility with centralized AC, making the college a more attractive place. The hostels here are all clean and have very good food facilities.
Faculty: All the teachers throughout the course were very helpful and trained with very high qualifications. Most of the faculty here are Captains and Chief Engineers with great experiences. The semester exams are not that difficult if one is motivated to study every day.

Placements: Our college provides 100% placements. Top recruiting companies are BW, Wilhelmsen, Stena, Maersk, and Chevron. Students got roles as deck cadets with a maximum waiting period of 9 months. Our college conducts training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and hostels. It is available throughout the day. Labs have all equipment. Classrooms are spacious. Each classroom can accommodate 40 students. The library has vast literature books on professional subjects. The hostel is hygienic. The food served in the mess and canteen is excellent. Our canteen provides good snacks at expensive rates. Medical facilities and first aid are available 24X7 in our college. An athletic track, a swimming pool, and a football field are available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified in their subjects. Shipping subjects are taught by professors who have vast experience. The curriculum prepares us for our life. Semester exams are easy. Class tests are conducted twice a semester to prepare us for the final semester exam. Most of the students clear their papers.

Our college has an excellent placement record.
Placements: In our college, almost 98% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is $ 350 per month to $ 800 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities. There are basketball courts, lawn tennis courts, a gym (X3), shuttle courts, volleyball courts, squash courts, a swimming pool, an athletics field, and large football and cricket fields. The library is good. The mess is good. The food offered is nutritious and healthy. The college offers one canteen in the administration area, one grocery shop, one barber shop, one stationery shop, and one restaurant.
Faculty: Almost 90% of teachers are captains, chief engineers, and teachers with exceptional knowledge and skill. The concepts are taught in depth with proper understanding, knowledge, and depth. Every practical is done over the course, and the basics are taught properly.

The college has impressive sports facilities and experienced faculty members.
Placements: Various off-shore companies like Torm, Chevron, Dockendale, Anglo Eastern, etc., visit our campus every year. Placement opportunities are decent for bachelor's when compared to other colleges. Most of the students opt for higher studies after completing the bachelor's course. Salary packages are quite low as all the bachelor's course packages are, so opting for higher studies is a better option.
Infrastructure: The college was very active in sports. Sports like squash, tennis, volleyball, etc., are available on campus. A gymnasium is also there. The library is very huge and has a large number of books in it. There are a total of 3 hostels in the college. The hostel is compulsory for maritime studies and training as we're taught how to live as a team and work as a team. In other words, we cannot live in outliving. We've got excellent mess service and laundry system is also available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members of the college are master mariners and qualified chief engineers. The faculty members have already experienced life at sea so they are the best to guide students and future mariners. The college has a good course curriculum which is set by IMU and monitored by DG shipping. The exam structure is defined and favors students as the questions asked are focused on skills rather than bookish knowledge.

The number of students placed during IMU Chennai placements is not out yet. Once out it will be updated here. However, as per some unofficial sources IMU Chennai recorded a placement rate of 80-90% with good placement packages.

The latest cutoff information for B.Tech. in Marine Engineering at IMU Mumbai for General category is 179 and for SC category is 87.

To get admission to the university, you must clear the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET) exam held every year. Indian citizens are not eligible for direct admission, and they cannot get the application form from the Mumbai campus of the Indian Maritime University.
