The Jadavpur University accepts the CUET PG cutoff scores for admission to various PG courses. The cutoff in 2023 ranged from 1 to 77.95 score for the General category students belonging to the All India quota. The most competitive course for admission was MPharma with all the specialisations last round cutoff score being 77.95, followed by MA in Journalism and Mass Communication (Day) course, with the qualifying score being 60.

The syllabus of the WBJEE entrance exam is very similar to the Class 12 board exam syllabus for the PCM stream. The WBJEE entrance exam is mostly comprised of the 3 main subjects which are Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Jadavpur University is one of the high-ranked universities for Engineering courses. Thus, candidates need to have a really good GATE score to secure admission in this university. The university prepare a merit list based on candidates GATE score and performance in the interview round (if conducted). Going as per Jadavpur University cutoff 2023, CUET PG Round 1 scores for Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) stood at 1, for Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) at 37.73,  Master of Library and Information Science in Digital Library at 36.98, for M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication (Day) at 60 and for MPharma (all specialisations) stood at 77.95 for the General All India category candidates. Jadavpur University is a state-aided autonomous university. It receives funding from the State Government, UGC and the World's Bank TEQIP division. So, the fee is quite low. The fee for UG courses start from INR 20,800. For PG courses, the start from INR 1,200. The fee is high for technical and Management courses such as BTech, MBA, MTech, etc.
