    A good college that provides good placement andand has value for money.
    Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed every year. The highest package is 40 LPA - 50 LPA, whereas the average package lies between 15 LPA every year. Companies like Amazon, Schrodinger, Nvidia, and Texas Instruments visit for campus placements. Almost all the good students get internships.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the college has highly specialized labs with all the required instruments in excellent condition. The college has a central library where all the necessary books for the courses are available. The hostel accommodation is good, providing a single room for each student and ensuring their health by offering fresh and healthy food.
    Faculty: The teaching faculty is highly qualified and helps the students in every aspect. The curriculum is excellent in this course, since it provides all the subjects to make a student industry ready which further helps the students in getting good opportunities in their placement drive. The semester exams are held in a very organised way, where everything comes from what is taught during the class. Only 40% is required to pass a semester exam.
    Other: I choose this course because it provides very good opportunities in future. The curriculum in this course is purely excellent along with the faculty. The college is itself an assets since it stands out for its placements and value for money than any other colleges.

    Our college is best for value for money.
    Placements: Placements are top-notch for both UG and PG students. Especially for computer science. All the product-based companies visit the campus. The average salary package is around 12-14 LPA. For UG students the average is higher. Education quality is also top-notch.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good. Buildings are pretty old and need maintenance. Campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and the classrooms are air-conditioned. Library is the best with roughly 1 lakh books and more. Students can access all top-tier journals from the library.
    Faculty: Faculty is the best and the brightest. They have a significant reputation and impact not only in India but also worldwide. All the faculty members publish top-tier international journals and conferences. Good quality research is done here.

    Review of Jadavpur University.
    Placements: The B.Tech placements were good here. Our college provides average placements in M.Tech like any other universities. However, me being in the placement cell, can say that the placement cell works very efficiently. Companies that conducted placements at our college was comparable to any IIT. I am currently a student at IIT Kharagpur.
    Infrastructure: Our university is spread over two campuses, and it does not lack anything. Lab infrastructure is excellent. I cannot say anything about hostels because I didn't avail that facility. The university library is one of the largest in the city of Calcutta.
    Faculty: I do not know about the faculty members JU. Now in IIT Kharagpur, I meet many faculty members who were previously at Jadavpur University.

    It was a pleasure to be a part of this esteemed university.
    Placements: The course had 15 students out of which 11 was placed from the campus drive. The highest drawn salary from this department was around 5 Lacs p. a and the lowest was 3.6 Lacs p. a. the average range of salary offered was 4.2 Lacs p. a. one of the top recruiting company was Goldman Sachs apart from Infosys. The designation was either supervisor or assistant software engineer. Although the average c. t. c was around 4.2 Lacs p. a however most of the students in our course opted for higher studies or other government jobs (lecturer or psu). There wasn't any intern from our course.
    Infrastructure: The department had Wi-Fi facility although the reliability wasn't that great. The classes were quite big to accommodate a full strength of 40 students. Library is perhaps one of the best attribute of this university. Digital and physical library is amply equipped. Hostel facility is given on first come first serve basis with a very low monthly fees compared to the market status. The quality of food was quite good as student representatives are kept to monitor the proceedings of the menu and quality. Medical facilities, canteens are there within the campus itself. Other facilities like banking service, atm is also there. The campus have a big ground that is maintained by the cricket association of Bengal.
    Faculty: The best thing is certainly the quality of the faculty members available. They are not only qualified and knowledgeable but also extremely helpful and guide a student through the course as and when needed. The course structure is well built to render an application based knowledge to the students.
    Other: Thermodynamics is a favorite of mine as it has ample application in day to day life. This interest provoked me to join this course. Such a course is of great importance to the industry as it has a direct impact on the environment. A direct collaboration with top industries might booster the course. Events and fests are conducted at regular intervals to entertain the students. Scholarship is provided by the Central Government to those students who qualify the GATE examination and take admission to the Masters course. The campus environment provides enough opportunity to inculcate other extracurricular activities out of the academic course.

    The placement scenario is disappointing, but the infrastructure, facilities and faculty are good.
    Placements: The strength of M.E. civil engineering of 2019 batch (specialisation in structure) is 10 students. Two students were company-sponsored and went back to their parent company after passing out. From the remaining, only two students got placement from campus at DCPL, and they were offered salary package of around 5 LPA.
    Infrastructure: Every student can access to Wi-Fi. Almost every book and journals related to our field of study are available at the department and central library. Laboratories have quality testing equipment, and computers have the latest structural engineering software. The campus has various canteens where quality food is available at a reasonable price.
    Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum could be a bit more relevant and more industry-oriented. Steel structure design should be included in the course and subjects like bridge design should be made available to the students for optional.
    Other: I wish that the placement scenario would improve and the placement co-coordinator should put a little more efforts to invite core companies for campus placements. Sports events, tech fests, cultural events are conducted throughout the year.

    I am very much satisfied with this college.
    Placements: Almost 99% of the batch got placed, and the rest opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, IBM, HSBC, Envestnet Yodlee, Capgemini, Johnson Control and many visited our campus for placements. Roles like system engineer specialist and senior analyst were offered. None of the students got internships.
    Infrastructure: The college has a central library and even departmental libraries, and books can be issued anytime. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus. Classrooms were neat and clean. Labs were available for students to study and work in research areas in their comfort zone. The hostel is very disciplined and good. There are many canteens, and food is also good and equally affordable. Medical facilities are good, and a medicine shop is also available on the campus (Frankross). Students can play sports and games on the playground and clubs as well.
    Faculty: Teachers are very specialised and knowledgeable. They are very helpful while teaching and doing research, and their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the student ready for any challenges as the curriculum also updated with new topics.
    Other: Computer science is one of my favourite subjects, I like coding and innovation in the field of AI, that's why I chose this course. The best thing in this course is we not only learn to operate the computer but come up with new creative ideas to accomplish. No improvement is needed in this course. Events are conducted all the time. Different departments organise fests throughout the year, and anyone can attend, enjoy and also participate in extracurricular activities, and students from other colleges can also participate in these events. The campus surroundings are good, and students here are very polite and helpful. Scholarships are provided on behalf of MHRD, and many other funding bodies during research and M.Tech so it becomes helpful.
