Jamia Hamdard BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Jamia Hamdard BTech programme is offered in three specialisations. The university allows lateral entry to BTech CSE and BTech ECE as well. BTech at Jamia Hamdard is available in CSE, CSE (Artifiical Intelligence), and ECE. For the course admission, the prescribed eligibility and selection requirements must be fulfilled. Jamia Hamdard BTech selection is based on JEE Main paper-I scores. Further, the prescribed eligibility criteria is as follows:
Eligibility: A Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of the following - Chemistry, Computer Science, or Electronics from CBSE or any other board. The qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
Moreover, to be eligible for Jamia Hamdard BTech (lateral), candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering in any branch from a recognised authority passed with at least 50% aggregate.

STEP 2: Selection Rounds
Jamia Hamdard selects candidates for the BTech course based on JEE Main score. In case of delay in the conduct of JEE or if JEE candidates are not available, the university may offer admission based on merit of aggregate percentage of the first five subjects of the qualifying examination. Admission to BTech (lateral entry) is based on merit in the last qualifying examination.
