Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Banaras Hindu University, is good value for money.
Placements: There is a training and placement cell of each department, like social science, arts, etc., on the main campus. Placements highly depend on the student's individual CV or skills. An internship has been made mandatory in the third year under the NEP curriculum. My advice is that students should enhance their skills and also look for off-campus opportunities instead of solely depending on campus placements, especially if they are from the arts course.
Infrastructure: In Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, labs for science students are well-equipped and maintained. Classes are held regularly. There is free Wi-Fi for all students, including hostellers and day scholars. As our university is really old, some buildings have slightly degraded, but new buildings are also there with better infrastructure. Mess food and hostels are also average to above average in accordance with the fees. But one hostel is under construction in MMV as of now, so not all girls have been allotted a hostel.
Faculty: This is one area where MMV is ahead of FMC, especially in the arts department. Professors are so kind and professional. They teach regularly and send related materials. The teaching quality is definitely above average. Semester exams are not that tough, and one can easily pass if they follow classes.
Other: The best thing about being a BHU main campus student is facilities. We get free bus service, Wi-Fi, libraries, and a wide network of students and professors to connect with. We can connect with IIT and IMS students if we want. We can also be a part of events. There are clubs and societies too. We also get government scholarships.

University has really a good and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: There is a good placement in our university. The average package is 20 lac. 40 to 50 percent of students get internships. Talented students get a higher amount of package with a prestigious company. Students are happy with this package and job. Some students get a very high package.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The library, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, hospital, and mess are available in our university. The food in the mess is good. Playgrounds are also available in our university. The library has too many books and such a good infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are kind-hearted and helpful. Semester exams are very difficult and there is no scope for cheating. 80 to 90 percent pass in semester exams. Without studying hard, there is no scope to pass in the semester exam. Students take help from teachers for career guidance and knowledge.
Other: There are many activities on campus: mountaineering, sports, and events. They build our character and knowledge. They help us to know different friends and cultures.

Banaras Hindu University is the best residential university for middle-class students.
Placements: Political Science at BHU currently has no formal placement cell, though other departments like Geography and Chemistry offer structured placement opportunities through their faculty members. IIT organized a placement cell every year for IIT Bhu students.
Infrastructure: They provide amazing food in a mess while taking care of the hygiene of individuals. For classrooms, they are really awesome and feel self-confident. Professors of political science are really amazing.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, the curriculum blends theory with practical understanding, and exams are conducted regularly with a balanced mix of written assessment and internal evaluation. Exam patterns can be traced by PYQs and so on.
Other: It's good for campus life and academic growth.

Neutral as per the course and faculty offered, and value for money.
Placements: The college offers no direct recruitment or placement opportunities. It does have a counseling and placement group under which the students can apply for the posted job profiles by themselves, but there's no direct support from the college. Though the professors always inform about the new opportunities being available, they are always available for guidelines. Still, the college does not provide any interview opportunities or allow any companies to visit the campus directly for recruiting students. Therefore, in the placement field, the students are left on their own.
Infrastructure: The college is well developed in matters of infrastructure. It has well-developed classrooms with smart boards as well. The classrooms are well functional and there's a lift as well. The seminar hall is also well developed and conducive. A well-functioning library and cyber library. There are private hostels inside, and they offer decent food and facilities according to your choice, and there are even many events being organized by the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers of Political Science are not very great. It was good, as earlier, for 2 years, everything seemed in place, but in the third year, there was much chaos. Exams are more scheduled, and we'll conduct them, and due to the COVID batch, the exams were conducted without many gaps.
Other: The college is affiliated with Banaras Hindu University, and hence it gains much validity, and the results provided belong to BHU itself.

VKM BHU is a hub for learning, growth, and campus life.
Placements: 3-4 percent of students were placed. Highest package is 1.2 crore, Average is 23.1 LPA, and median is 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro along with academic institutions, NGOs, social work, and counseling. 4.0% of students in philosophy received placement. Teaching, civil services, and Government exams.
Infrastructure: The campus is enabled with wi-fi facilities, allowing students to access online academic resources, research papers, and study materials smoothly. The classrooms are well-ventilated, clean, and adequately furnished with whiteboards and projectors. The college offers access to language and computer labs. VKM has a well-stocked library, and the department has access to books on Indian and Western philosophy, ethics, logic, metaphysics, epistemology, and contemporary thinkers. Hostels are good, well-maintained, clean, and secure. Mess food is generally hygienic, simple, home-like food, with a fixed menu. Small canteen with snacks and basic food items. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. It may not be tailored for direct industry entry, but the competencies developed are highly valued across various sectors. There are no difficulties in the semester exams. Students who attend class regularly, engage with the coursework, and seek help when needed are likely to perform well. Pass percentage is around 33%.
Other: I chose this because I am curious about understanding life, reality, and human thought deeply. It sharpens critical thinking and reasoning skills. The course encourages open-mindedness and ethical reflection. The best part is learning to question assumptions and think independently. More interactive teaching methods and workshops could make learning more effective. A greater focus on research opportunities and critical thinking exercises is needed. VKM BHU campus is lively with regular events, festivals, and a vibrant student crowd, fostering a strong community spirit. Scholarships and financial support are available for meritorious students.

The environment is too good, as well as the faculty.
Placements: No package, I think my college gives us. 0% of the students were placed in your course. No recruiting companies I know. No recruiting companies for your course. 0% of students got internships from my course. No top roles were offered in my college. However, I think my college is well known for B.A. courses.
Infrastructure: The college has well-furnished classrooms. Wi-Fi available. Classrooms are well managed. Library available. Food quality is too good in the mess and canteen. No medical facilities, but they refer to a hospital. The sports and games field is good. In the hostel, the light and fan facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally well-qualified, with most holding advanced degrees in their respective fields. Many have both academic and industry experience, which adds practical insights to the lectures. Most teachers are approachable, helpful, and willing to guide outside of class hours. The teaching quality is a balance of theory and practical examples, though it can vary slightly from one faculty member to another.
Other: I opted for this course because my interest was in Political Science Hons., it deals with international relations, the United Nations Council, etc. I think there should be better lecturers. Everything is quite good.
