The placements offered here are not good for electronics students, but for computer science students there are few good opportunities to try during the whole process.

I'm not satisfied with the mess food at all; it's horrible.
Placements: There are good placements, a well-maintained campus, and supportive faculty at college. Around 80% of students in my college got placed, which is quite decent compared to other private colleges. The highest package was about 28 LPA, the lowest was around 3.5 LPA, and the average package hovered around 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms, good Wi-Fi in academic areas, and a central library with a large collection of books and e-resources. The hostel rooms are clean and maintained regularly, with 24/7 water and electricity backup. The mess food is average, better than some other hostels, but repetitive sometimes. There are multiple canteens and food stalls inside the campus offering a decent variety.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified (many hold PhDs) and are quite approachable for doubts or project guidance. The course curriculum is updated regularly to match industry trends, but you still need to learn extra skills on your own. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with around 90% pass percentage if you study consistently.
Other: I chose ECE because of my interest in circuits and systems. The best part is campus discipline and a clean environment. I wish they could improve mess food variety and increase the number of core companies for branches other than CS/IT. The total fees for my four-year B.Tech course, including tuition, hostel, mess, and other charges, were around Rs. 20,00,000-25,00,000.

Good placement state but negligible extracurricular facilities.
Placements: Placements at JIIT are pretty decent and scale up depending on your skills. Really good companies like Amazon and Google do visit the campus. From the recent placements, 91% were hired, and the top package went up to 70 LPA with an average of 25 LPA, which is very good.
Infrastructure: Facilities at JIIT are up to the mark, considering the latest technology-equipped labs, Wi-Fi in the library with peaceful surroundings, and classrooms with smart boards, fully air-conditioned. Hostels have an entertainment room, gym, playing area, etc. There is also a grocery store for daily needs and laundry. For medical assistance, there is a dispensary with doctors on duty. About the food, it is mixed of some taste very good, while others are average but still eatable. The only thing lacking is the sports facility, which is negligible.
Faculty: Some teachers I encounter are so friendly and actually want to help, whereas some just come to do their jobs. They don’t care if you study or not, so you will have to do everything on your own. It does make students industry-ready, as they also have English and human values classes. Semester exams are mid but not that difficult to crack if you study. Some people do get back if their CGPA is relatively low, though.
Other: Events and fests are minimal, though the vibes are good. There should be more, as JIIT is mostly academically focused. There are many clubs and societies to join as well. The attendance criteria are 65-70%, but they don’t entertain medical leaves, which is a con.

It was the worst decision for me to join this college. I would not recommend students to join JIIT.
Placements: The worst placements ever. They show every student placed in their system, but in reality, almost 30-40% of students are still unplaced from the 2024 batch. I am one of them. The college is not at all concerned about this, nor do they respond to us now.
Infrastructure: The area in which the college is built is really small. There is not much space inside the campus. You will feel like you just entered the college from GATE 1, and after 2-3 minutes, you will reach the exit GATE of the college. There is nothing like a university campus. Even some of the schools nowadays have a bigger area than JIIT.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college are good. They provide good lectures, and the examination system is also decent. The marking scheme is also systematic. Teachers are helpful by nature and have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The curriculum is huge, but teachers manage to get it completed on time.
Other: It was the worst decision for me to join this college.

It is a good college for placements.
Placements: The placement percentage of this college is very good. Around 80% of students have been placed till now. Many students got great packages from big companies like Atlassian, Google, Walmart, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Cisco, etc. The average package offered in my course ranges from 6-7 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Genpact, Rohde & Schwarz, and Samsung. Around 60% of students got internships in companies like STM, Rockwell Automation, etc. Top roles offered are GET, technical analyst, R and D intern, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. There are good-quality classrooms and labs. Labs have great experiments stuff. Recently, a new fabrication lab has also been added for VLSI enthusiasts. The campus structure is quite phenomenal along with lots of trees and plants. The library is quite spacious and peaceful. It is equipped with every type of book a person needs for study. The hostel is good, and rooms have enough storage space. The quality of food in the mess is better than other messes.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does not make students fully industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are up to the mark and the pass percentage of students is quite high.
Other: The electronics and communication course is a practical field as it provides students to do hands-on work and thus it's quite good, so I chose it. The practical implementation if done along with theory can be quite helpful for future students, but it can be improved. There are good technical and non-technical events done in our college. The campus crowd is decent. The connectivity of the college is really good, as it resides on the main highway with a metro station and many other things in reach. There are various clubs in college for extracurricular activities.

Great infrastructure but hectic life.
Placements: I am in the first batch of my course which is EC with a specialisation in advanced communication technology but it is similar to core ECE with more focus on communication subjects. It is quite beneficial in placements too. The placement will be quite similar to core ECE too and approximately 90% of students got placed in that branch, so it can be expected it will continue. There are a bunch of multinational companies recruiting from this college. In this branch such as Qualcomm, Intel, Ericsson, etc., offering packages of 8 LPA+.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very well-built with an overall positive feel. We have a lot of labs for pretty much everything and a library with a large seating capacity. It has a wide range of books and computers for studying. There are also discussion and meeting rooms in the library. Hostels are great, but maybe a little expensive and small. The food in the mess is great with changing menu everyday. We have 2 outdoor badminton courts, a basketball court, and a volleyball court with a very big grass lawn. Wi-Fi is limited. It is 3GB per day.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in every way possible and very qualified from many prestigious institutions. The teaching quality is great. They guide us on how to get knowledge in certain fields and teach us what's important in placements. Semester exams are very difficult. It is quite hard to maintain a good CGPA here. There are 3 examinations in a semester with marks distribution as 20, 20, and 35, the rest is given by the teacher.
Other: There are many things that need to be improved here like a revised examination pattern as there's very little time for students to work on other things and skill building and many more. Fests are great and very enjoyable. The campus is quite pleasant and lively.
