My experience in JSPM.

Placements: As for percentage placement, it is 100%, but for consideration of package, it starts from 300,000 per annum, and the highest package was of 1 crore in Colombo AI. An internship of 6 months is compulsory for every student of the college, and if you want to extend it, you can extend it for 1 year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not just as I expected from a college. Considering other colleges, our infrastructure is not that good but also not that bad. Our campus has a very good canteen, ground, and 4 different buildings for different branches of engineering.

Faculty: As for teaching, I ensure you that our college provides the best teaching of all colleges, and the staff is very much supportive, which helps us in our need. For exams, it’s easier than university papers as it's an autonomous college, so exams are easy, and our syllabus is generated by Tata Motors.

Other: I chose this course because it’s an autonomous college, and my brother was from this college too. I would like to improve the college ground, and otherwise, this college is the best.

Overall, the college is best to study in.

Placements: Around 30 to 40 out of 100 students get placed based on their academics. The highest package in college is 12 lacs. The top roles offered in mechanical courses are industry engineer, aerospace engineer, marine engineer, and many more opportunities are there in the mechanical field.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good on the college campus. The quality of the food is quite decent; basically, the food is good. The facilitators in the hostel are also good; they provide warm water in the morning on time and the warden is also good. The hostel also provides cleaning services so its quite good.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and teaching is also good. The teachers have knowledge of the courses and they are very helpful in various ways to the students in order to excel. Yes, it is relevant. The exam level is moderate and 35% is the passing criteria.

Other: I just did not get the course; I wanted it, so I enrolled in B.Tech Mechanical.
